ELMVALE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH 22 Queen St. E. Elmvale, ON L0L 1P0 Gather to worship, go out to serve. MAY 31, 2015 Please stand for the entry of the Bible. *Please stand if you are able. WELCOME & ANNOUNCEMENTS WE ENTER INTO GOD’S PRESENCE strangers with our brothers and sisters, whereas your heart earnestly desires to be reconciled with your estranged children. In a similar manner, when your heart breaks over the violence, oppression and injustice that goes on in our world, we confess we are often indifferent. While you are the advocate of the widow, the orphan, and the poor, we confess we are often content to let them fend for themselves. Forgive us Lord for not valuing life the same way you do. Help us to honour, protect, and nurture life through Jesus Christ our Lord. This we ask as we pray…Our father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven; give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. MOMENT OF QUIET REFELECTION TO PREPARE FOR WORSHIP CHILDREN’S PRAISE SONGS: 225 A new commandment Family Prayer Song CALL TO WORSHIP: Noah Brumsey L: Praise the Lord.
