SPRING TERM 2015 Issue 5 - Monday 23rd March 2015 Message from the Headteacher We reach the end of another busy term! This has been a good term for learning, including additional booster lessons for children at the end of each key stage in preparation for their forthcoming assessments. Our traditional after school clubs will begin again after the Easter holiday. We of course enjoyed our ‘Outstanding Celebration Day’ at the cinema, our nursery children are completing the celebrations with their own visits this week. We have recently welcomed a number of new children to our school, as I write this newsletter only one of our year groups is not full with 90 children. As you know, we are always looking to ensure our levels of staff remain as high as possible. With Governor approval required, our yet to be used INSET Day will be on Friday 26th June, school to be closed to children on that day. While the last day of the school year is Friday 17th July. With holidays in mind, children return to school on Monday 7th September. The School has recently seen success in a number of sporting events including Cross Country and Gymnastics. I will send a ‘sporting’ newsletter out later next term to highlight our achievements in the sporting arena. May I take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and wish everyone a very happy Easter with their families.
