Dear Parents, Carers and Friends,
Sports Relief: Friday 18th March fancy dress; bring a donation please.
World Book Day: Thursday 24th March dress up as your favourite book
character.
We enjoyed a wonderful Welsh week that started with a visit from Jonathan
Hill from ITV to film a documentary about Aberfan. Thank you to Mr Thomas
for an excellent morning; our junior children learned so much from you.
Thank you to all our families for your support
on St David's Day at the Twmpath in the Welfare Hall. Everyone had a fantastic time- thank
you Mrs Jenkins for all your hard work. Pupils performed brilliantly in our special Welsh
assembly on St David's Day - they made us very proud.
Thank you to everyone who helped raise money for the Paralympian event with Jack
Rutter. The school raised £1,200 and 60% will go towards sports equipment for the
school. Pupils will receive their prizes as soon as we receive them.
