Diana Thomi from Victory in the Valley will be our speaker. All groups will meet together. The Senior Adult Bible Study will meet at 12:00 p.m. this Wednesday for a pot-luck meal. Our Bible Study will follow. This Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. we will have our annual wiener roast. All that you need to bring is your wiener sticks, lawn chairs, and your appetites. Regular Bible studies will be held at 7:00 p.m. This will be our final evening of Bible studies until fall. Come and help Addie Mosiman prepare for her upcoming marriage to Caleb Entz at a shower on Sunday, May 3, at 2:30 in the Emmaus Hearth Room. Addie is registered at Target. Summer is quickly approaching and we are sure that some of you have plans for a Summer Missions Trip. Please turn a note into the church office saying where you will be going, a brief description of what you will be doing and the dates you will be away. We would like to compile the information we receive and put it on the bulletin insert during the summer months. Thank you. The Missions Committee Next Sunday, for our May C.E. we are excited to hear a report about the Central Kansas Prison Ministry. This will be followed with a testimony from Tim Ladwig. Mr. Ladwig is an illustrator for children’s books (two of which are located in our library). Tim will be sharing his testimony and how God has used his artistic ability as a way of ministry. We will have child dedication on May 10 in our morning worship service. If you would like to have your child dedicated, please let Wanita know. Thanks. The Wissmann family will be sharing a concert of music and testimony on Sunday evening, May 3, at Newton Bible Church -- 6:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome! Willing Workers will meet May 7, at 7:00 p.m. All ladies are encouraged to join us for the evening. Our special speakers will be Rachel (Alan) Busenitz and Ashley Busenitz and they will be sharing what God is doing on the campus of Butler County Community College. Our prayer leader will be Rachel Busenitz and hostesses will be Debora Claassen and Gail Toevs. Our project is for Wheat State Manor Country Store. Swiss Church invites everyone to join them May 9 from 5-7 for an evening of food, music, and games at their Family Life Center. This evening is an adoption benefit for Devon and Rebecca Hayworth. See our bulletin board for more details about this exciting event. Everyone is invited to the Heartland Pregnancy Care Center's Open House on May 15th from 6-8pm at 1027 S. Washington Rd. Suite D, Newton. Come and meet the new Co-directors and visit with the Board of Directors. Take a tour of the updated office, Mentor Rooms and "The Mercantile." This is a come and go event. See the poster on the Bulletin Board for additional details. Nellie Myers' mother, Elizabeth (Neuenswander) Compton, passed away Tuesday, April 21. She made her milestone of her 96th birthday. They are sad to lose her, but rejoicing with her that today she is with Christ. Keep the Myers family in your prayers.
