students who helped with raking of leaves and yard
cleanup on Earth Day.

Education week is May 4th to May 8th. To help us in
our celebration, we are happy to welcome Soul

5th. This program helps facilitate equity and
inclusion throughout the school and teaches skills
in focusing and listening, team building,
harmonized community behaviours, awareness of
others and leadership. A whole school assembly
will take place at 2:00 p.m.

School Council Meeting
The next Errol Road School Council Meeting is
scheduled for Monday, June 1st at 7:00 p.m. All Errol
Road parents/guardians are invited to attend.
EQAO testing will take place for students in Grade 3
and 6 from May 25th to June 5th. These
assessments measure students’ knowledge and
skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. We
request that appointments for students are not
scheduled during this testing period.
This
assessment provides excellent data for the school
team as we reflect on our areas of strength and
improvement and we use this data to guide our
School Improvement Plan.
We need some parents who would be willing to
help prepare a healthy snack for students each
day during EQAO assessments. If you would be
willing to help out by cutting up fruit and cheese
please notify Ms. McLean.
Lost and Found – is your child missing any winter
clothing? Please check out the lost and found area for
any lost items. Any items not picked up by the end of
the week will be donated to local charity.
