May 2015
We, the Rockers, are so grateful our weather straightened out! Aren’t
you? Ponder this: If April showers bring May flowers, what do Mayflowers
bring? Pilgrims. Ha!Ha! Also, “Spring May Be A Little Late This Year;” do
you remember that song? Well, since it’s negative in nature, we shelved it!
In May there’s lots of activities with Mother’s Day (10th) at the top of
the list, then, May (16th) is Armed Forces Day; and, last but not least,
Memorial Day is observed on the (25th), this year.
The band will be playing several patriotic numbers in May at the places listed in the
calendar.
Please remember to thank a vet (all year would be nice!) And also, please reverently
remember those veterans who have past.
