This tool can follow any prep tool in one fast step, drastically reducing labor and additional tooling costs. STEP 2: REFINE THE CANVAS - RA 40 Item # GMISS2 This tool is the first refinement tool in the The CRMX™ Concrete Polishing System. The Step 2 tool is made from natural earth materials and will not transfer spent resins in the concrete surface that cause contaminated finishes. The Step 2 tool will provide a scratch-free surface that can continue with Step 3 of The Original CRMX™ Concrete Polishing System for a higher level of refinement. STEP 3: POLISH THE CANVAS - RA 20 Item # GMISS3 This tool is the single polishing tool in the The CRMX™ Concrete Polishing System. The Step 3 tool is constructed with the highest grade epoxy resins in the industry. It was developed to produce the cleanest finishes among all polishing systems in the industry. Average gloss readings with the The Original CRMX™ Concrete Polishing System rate approximately 70 on the gloss meter and will provide all the clarity desired. NEVER CHASE THE SCRATCH AGAIN! The Original CRMX™ 3-Step Polishing System removes the complexities involved in the tooling and selection process. This innovative system can reduce labor costs as much as 60% and reduce contractor inventories by an average of 75% with this innovative 3-Step process. With this shortened selection process, it allows contractors to remove the guesswork out of tool choice, and the diamond selection process out of the operator’s control. Following proper steps and procedure is critical to achieve desired results. Choose any grit diamond tool you may need to remove coatings or prepare the saurface to seamlessly lead into Step 1. p | 1-855-755-2200 e | info@gmiengineeredproducts.com w | www.gmiengineeredproducts.com |6 THE ORIGINAL CRMX ™ CONCRETE CHEMICALS 3-Step Concrete Polishing System THE ORIGINAL CRMX™ SURFACE REFINING AGENT The Original CRMX™ Surface Refining Agent™ is a chemical-based refining agent that is applied to concrete surfaces to aid in rapidly removing scratches and achieving high levels of clarity. The Original CRMX™ Surface Refining Agent was developed as a replacement product to polishing powders that do not react with high levels of calcium and free lime. Advanced technology has made possible this unique blend of nano-synthetic abrasives and nano-molecular chemistry to form together in a harmonious blend for refinement processes involving concrete polishing, stone slab polishing, marble polishing and cement-based terrazzo polishing. The Original CRMX™ Surface Refining Agent contains an encapsulator that separates the water from the by-product that is produced during the refinement process, so all waste material can be classified as solid waste. It not only removes scratches easily but also uses the paste to fill in bug holes and micro cracks at the surface that typically impede good gloss readings due to a high amount of irregularities that are normally left in the surface with typical polishing procedures. Using The Original CRMX™ Surface Refining Agent will eliminate the need for lengthy grinding steps. A typical project using the The Original CRMX™ Surface Refining Agent will only require 3 tooling steps after coatings have been removed, no matter if PCD’s or 6 Grit metal bonds have created a heavy or deep scratch profile. By using The Original CRMX™ Surface Refining Agent, two variable components are completely removed from the polishing process. THE ORIGINAL CRMX™ DENSIFIER The Original CRMX™ Densifier is a concrete densifier and chemical hardener in a ready-to-use formula. It is a colorless liquid which hardens and dustproofs concrete with nano-sized particles. The reacted surface creates an environment that does not welcome moisture or topical water spills. Treated surfaces will keep common spills and other moisture suspended on the surface of the concrete substantially longer than untreated surfaces. Once properly applied, the finished surface provides substantial improvement in abrasion resistance and will significantly improve the durability of the surface when compared to untreated concrete. Once The Original CRMX™ Densifier is applied, a chemical reaction takes place producing a by-product that fills in the pores of the concrete, one molecule at a time. The Original CRMX™ Densifier solidifies the concrete, eliminating dusting, pitting and excessive wear. p | 1-855-755-2200 e | info@gmiengineeredproducts.com w | www.gmiengineeredproducts.com 7| THE ORIGINAL CRMX™ ACID BLOCKER The Original CRMX™ Acid Blocker is a micro-film forming, chemical cross-link hybrid, inorganic/organic surface treatment that hardens and seals concrete floors and delays etching concrete surfaces due to spills that contain highly acidic properties. It produces a high performance ultra-hard watertight and dustrepellant surface that is chemically resistant. The Original CRMX™ Acid Blocker is the supreme coating system for harsh and high abuse commercial and industrial floors when an extra layer of protection is required to significantly reduce surface etching. It is the optimal choice if floors are exposed to high consumer traffic, large equipment, chemicals, or abrasion. This low VOC treatment (less than 50 gram per liter) is an industrial grade that is easy to apply, cures rapidly, and provides a beautiful clear glossy finish. It is ideal for facilities that require maximum protection and little or no downtime. The Original CRMX™ Acid Blocker is environmentally friendly and has a very low polymer/ammonia odor. The Original CRMX™ Acid Blocker will leave concrete significantly harder, stain resistant, easy to maintain, and provide a 60% increase in light reflectivity than untreated concrete surfaces. The Original CRMX™ Acid Blocker does not decrease the coefficient of friction on surfaces. THE ORIGINAL CRMX™ POLISHED CONCRETE FLOOR CLEANER The Original CRMX™ Polished Concrete Floor Cleaner is a PH neutral cleaner including quaternary ammonium disinfectant that delivers a continous dispersion of silica that hardens and densifies concrete surfaces at each cleaning. The Original CRMX™ Polished Concrete Floor Cleaner is uniquely refined and highly reactive. It will reduce porosity on any concrete surface with every application thus making the floor naturally more stain and abrasion resistant giving the concrete a more reflective finish. Each and every facility will change its traffic pattern over time and begin to show cosmetic wear in high exposure areas. In higher traffic areas, main walkways could develop micro abrasion giving it a duller appearance than areas not as heavily traveled. This is a very common condition that does not represent a defective or failing product. If your floor has been polished with The Original CRMX™ 3-Step Concrete Polishing System, simply cleaning with The Original CRMX™ Polished Concrete Floor Cleaner will restore the shine. Areas of extreme traffic, or that have suffered from a lack of daily maintenance, can often be brought back to the original gloss in this manner. In most severe cases where restoration is required, contact GMI Engineered Products and technical services will provide facility management with the proper restoration process and procedure. 3-Step Concrete Polishing System p | 1-855-755-2200 e | info@gmiengineeredproducts.com w | www.gmiengineeredproducts.com |8 PREP ZONE TOOLS IS PREPARATION REQUIRED? No more comparing rubber molds on a key ring with the CSP that you’ve ground, just measure it exactly. Parameters include Surface Texture Grade (STG), Roughness Average (Ra), Concrete Surface Profile (CSP) and are displayed in units of measurement. The measurements can be displayed in micro inches and micro metrics. Once the measurement is displayed, the units (micro inches or micro metrics) can be interchanged without repeated readings. There is no requirement for setting up or programming, the device is ready to use out of the box. Operator training is not required, but training can be provided. How It Works A diamond stylus is drawn across the concrete surface. The motorized traverse mechanism is cam driven to ensure that the correct horizontal distance is traveled. Vertical movement of the stylus as it travels across peaks and valleys is detected by a piezoelectric pick up which converts mechanical movement into an electrical signal. The electrical signal is digitized and sent to a microprocessor where the parameters are instantly calculated using standardized algorithms. The T Meter is aconfigured using the most common industry measuring parameters: STG (Surface Texture Grade) parameter found in CSDA ST115 Ra (Roughness Average) exact numerical data, texture of surface CSP (Concrete Surface Profile) reads a range of CSP 1-6 defined by ICRI chip sets p | 1-855-755-2200 e | info@gmiengineeredproducts.com w | www.gmiengineeredproducts.com 15| T METER TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Gauge Range 200µm (0.008in) Traverse Length 5mm (0.2in) Measurement Length 4mm (0.16in) Traverse Speed 2mm/s (0.08in/s) Gauge Range 200µm (800µin) Gauge Resolution 0.05µm (2µin) Display Resolution Ra 0.01µ Display Resolution CSP, STG 01µm (1µin) Cut Off 0.8mm (0.03in) +/- 15% Uncertainty 0.1µm 95% confidence level Results Range Ra 40µm (1600µin) ISO 4287:1997 Stylus Diamond conisphere with 5µm nominal radius, 90° tip Filter Type 2CR, (200:1) Sample Spacing 1µm Stylus Force 10mN (1gf) max at mid range Batteries Control Unit 1 x 3V Li 2450 Two Pieces One Function The bottom half contains the traverse mechanism and stylus pick up assembly.
