‘DEAF ANGLICANS TOGETHER’ SPRING CONFERENCE 2015 When: 15th – 17th May 2015 Where: Wistaston Hall, Crewe, Cheshire CW2 8JS Theme: ‘The Earth will be filled with the Glory of God’ The conference will focus on mission to Deaf people abroad PRESENTERS (all Deaf) Bob McFarland Bob, originally from Northern Ireland, is the Pastor of The Midlands Christian Fellowship in Leicester. He is an international preacher/evangelist in the UK, Europe and other parts of the world amongst deaf and hearing churches and conferences. He’s also a member of All Nations Christian Church in Leicester and the Go! Sign team. Laurence Banks Laurie lives in London and is the Director of Go! Sign as well as teaching part-time in a school. He is involved with both deaf and mainstream churches and works in partnership with the Chaplain for the Deaf in the London Diocese. He has 30 years’ experience of preaching in the UK and abroad. Takeo Nuka Takeo comes from Japan and attended Bible College there before working as an assistant pastor in Wesleyan Deaf Mission in Japan. He is currently in the UK studying at Nazarene Theological College in Manchester. He will return to Japan as a pastor in the church when he has finished his course. Comfortable good sized bedrooms. Most rooms are ensuite. There are tea and coffee making facilities on each floor. There is a licensed bar with comfortable lounges. Relaxed and peaceful with nice gardens. Travel by road: Wistaston Hall is easy to reach from the M6 motorway. Travel by rail: Nearest station is Crewe – about 2 miles away. There are plenty of taxis at the station (cost about £5).
