Who: This sleepover is for Year 5 to Year 9’s who are doing the 20 or 40 hour Food Famine. Feel free to bring a friend as your guest. Famine Start Times: For those doing the 40 hour Famine, please start your Famine at 4:00pm on Friday and for the 20 hour Famine, please start your Famine at 12:00 noon on Saturday. Then you will be completed and can have breakfast with us after 8:00am on Sunday. What Do We Need to Bring: Wear appropriate clothing for games and activities - “old clothes” would be great. Bring a complete change of clothes for Sunday. Bring pyjama’s/nightie, sleeping bag and/or blankets, bedroll/mattress/stretcher, toiletries (& medications if required). Food: We will provide juice and barley sugars during Saturday. Please bring your own NAMED water bottle. We will provide a light breakfast on Sunday morning. Sleeping Arrangements: Make your own cardboard hut in the Totara Lounge (aka the Friendship Lounge). Cost: $7.00 per person. Registration: Please complete the online Registration Form on our website: www.hcbc.nz (select Famine from the list of events) or complete this form and return to Fuel or PowerPacked or email Rachel Cooke rcooke@hcbc.co.nz Registration Closing Date: Tuesday 19 May 2015 Famine Packs: Please organise yourself a Famine Pack from school or register online as part of our group www.worldvision.org.nz and go to the 40 Hour Famine tab Select SIGN UP NOW for the famine Then a screen How would you like to take part? will appear. Choose JOIN A SCHOOL OR GROUP. Type in Hamilton Central Baptist Youth and click Join. Then click on whichever applies I’M NEW or I’M BACK and follow the instructions to set up your online Famine Registration. You will be able to email or share it with others to get them to sponsor you. You can get a Famine Book from school or from Glenda Caradus at Central Baptist Please organise your own sponsors and return the money as directed. Feel free to ask church folk to sponsor you over the next couple of weeks.
