EASTER PRODUCTION Thank you to the Y5/6 children and to Miss Hudson for a wonderful Easter performance in church this week. The children have worked incredibly hard on the production and I know Miss Hudson was very proud of all their efforts as I am sure parents were too. Well done to them all. NEWSPAPER Many of you will have bought and read the new school newspaper, named by the publishing group as 'From the Students' Mouth...'. The group had lots of ideas for the newspaper and we also had articles from other children in school. We look forward to seeing what they come up with for the summer edition! BMS MUSIC LESSONS Music lessons will continue in the summer term for those children currently participating. If your child no longer wishes to continue with their music tuition in the summer term please send a letter to the school office so that Barnsley Music Service (BMS) can be informed. Payment for music tuition should be made on Schoolmoney.co.uk and payments should be made no later than Friday 17 th April. Y3/Y4 HOCKEY The Y3/4 children attended a hockey tournament yesterday afternoon competing against children across Barnsley. They have been working on their hockey skills on Wednesday afternoons. The children played really well and were a credit to the school, we are very proud of them. CLASS PHOTOS These will take place on Thursday 16th April in the afternoon and will be available for purchase shortly afterwards. ROBINWOOD 2016 Next March we will be taking the Y5 and Y6 children to Robinwood Activity Centre at Todmorden.
