(HITRAC) est
Overview and Vision
The Homeland Infrastructure Threat and Risk Analysis Center (HITRAC )
leads the Nation’s premier analytical teams in the conduct of critical
infrastructure related modeling, simulation, and analysis in close
collaboration with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its
security partners. HITRAC aims to be a nationally recognized provider of
current, accurate, and comprehensive critical infrastructure risk
information, modeling, and analysis that informs the prioritization of
risk and supports risk management strategies, thus enhancing the
resilience of the Nation. HITRAC will move toward this vision by
building a robust and comprehensive suite of infrastructure analysis
programs that will produce rapid, precise studies in support of a wide
range of government and private sector programs and decisionmakers.
