SCRAP DISPOSAL GUIDELINES
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF SCRAP MATERIALS IS AS UNDER:

Terms and Conditions
1) SCRAPS/GOODS – PURCHASE AND REMOVAL
Scraps/Goods in one lot are sold on AS IS WHERE IS AND AS THEY STAND BASIS.
Bidders for this quotation should inspect the Scraps/Goods lying at the premises of India Habitat
Center as per detail above before auction.
2) TIME & VENUE:
A. The sealed quotation will be submitted to scrap committee on or before 10/4/2015 till 4:00 PM at
IHC, Core 5A, 6th Floor.
B. Quotation on received late, not in properly sealed cover, received telegraphically & Conditional or
not conforming with the above conditions or not complete in all respects will be rejected.
3) EMD
A. EMD for Rs. 50,000/ only (Rupee Fifty Thousand Only) should be furnished in the form of
Crossed Demand Draft in favor of India Habitat Center payable at New Delhi. This Bank Draft will be
returned to the all unsuccessful bidder
B. The quotation received without earnest money shall be rejected.
4) Mode of payment
A. The successful bidder shall the deposit the 100% amount of sale value within three days in the form
of Crossed Demand Draft in favor of India Habitat Center payable at New.
B. The lots (scraps/goods) purchased by the bidders will be removed /dispatched within three days
after submitted the payments.
5) Forfeiture of EMD
In the case of successful bidder’s failure to deposit the sale amount within the permissible time, the
amount of EMD paid will be forfeited and appropriate to the account administration of IHC.
6) Dispatched/Removal order – Order will be issued by the committee only after submission of pay
order/demand draft.
7) Demand draft of EMD will be released after the removal of the all earmarked scraps, same has
approved by Scrap Committee.
8) In the case of higher bidder failure, the sale will be automatically goes to second highest bidder or
auction will be cancelled, subject to final decision of Committee.
9) To participate in the auctions the bidders have to give an undertaking on a plain paper/company
letter head that he (giving his name, Father’s name and complete address with phone nos. etc) wants
to participate in the auction, and shall produce any photo identity proof i.e. identity proof having
photograph of the person on it such as Voter Card / Driving license/Pan card etc.
10) Scrap Committee shall have the full rights to accept or reject or postpone the auction of any or all
the items
