IWPC 2015: CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
IWPC 2015: 31 March - 01April - 02 April 2015, Istanbul, Turkey
If you’re working on a new project or if you have research about wind that you would like to share
with thousands of delegates at the most important regional wind energy event in Europe in 2015;
this is your chance to present your work to the wind industry's most important gathering in 2015 in
Istanbul, Turkey.
The wind industry continues to evolve around the world, and as it increases in size, scale and
complexity, our technical knowledge needs to keep pace. The congress programme at IWPC 2015 will
feature commercial, financial, regulatory, legal, technical and scientific sessions with a strong
emphasis on identifying the current limitations of knowledge, techniques, tools and practices, while
setting out solutions and paths forward.
We are looking for interesting, innovative abstracts/papers/posters that help advance our industry's
knowledge. Abstracts/Papers/Posters are being accepted under a wide range of technology topics,
from wind forecasting and wake modeling to drive trains and installation technology.

CRITICAL DATES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION:
Abstract submission deadline: 27 February 2015
Poster and paper submission deadline: 14 March 2014
PAPER AND POSTER SUBMISSION:
After collection of the abstracts until February 27 2015, Scientific Committee members will evaluate
all abstracts. Selected authors will then be asked to submit their papers and posters to the Scientific
Committee until March 14th, 2015.
There will be a Poster Session during IWPC 2015, while max 5 “best papers” are also planned to be
selected and authors invited to the Scientific Session within the conference.
Authors of all papers invited to the Poster Session or to the Scientific Session will be eligible for free
access to the conference as well as the exhibition. (1 free invitation for each paper submission)
ABOUT IWPC 2015
IWPC 2015 Event is planned and organized by Turkish Wind Energy Association (TWEA) with the
support of European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) and Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) to be
the leading regional wind event opening up international business opportunities for the whole of the
wind industry supply chain. Featuring an extensive exhibition and a broad conference programme,
this event is expected to bring together participants in Istanbul coming from various parts of the
world, especially Middle East, Europe, Central Asia, Balkans, Caucasus, Near East and Far East.
