CORRIGENDUM/ADDENDUM/DEDENDUM
Reference: This College earlier Advertisement dated 21.1.2014 published in Hindustan Times
and also in Employment News dated 18.1.2014 for filling up various vacant posts of teaching
staff. In this connection, the following amendment/corrigendum/addendum/dedendum are
notified to all concerned owing to re-casting of roster and also Pursuant to, and as per the
directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in its judgment if Civil Appeal no. 9096 of
2013 (Arising out SLP (Civil) No. 7541 of 2009) Union of India & Anr……Appellant (s) Versus
National Federation of the Blind & Ors …… Respondent(s), and as per UGC letter No. F. 63/2014(SCT)dated 14th March, 2014 for compliance and strict implementation of the same, the
backlog and reservation in respect of persons with disabilities in teaching appointments is
expected to be re-worked out with effect from1.1.1996. However, keeping in view Resolution
No. 193 (3) dated 16.07.1994 of the Executive Council of University of Delhi, this computation,
based on a 100 point vacancy –based Roster, has been done with effect from 16.07.1994.
Accordingly, the following changes/corrections/additions are hereby notified in aforesaid
Advertisement by way of this corrigendum.

The Candidates may please note that the fresh applications are invited only in case where there has been
fresh vacancy due to recasting of roster. Such vacancies are marked with * and # (for Physically
Handicapped Category) and fresh applications shall be considered / invited only against * and # mark.
Essential Qualifications (minimum eligibility condition) for the post of Assistant Professor (except
Music):1. Good Academic record with at least 55% marks (50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD
category) or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed at the
Master’s level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a
accredited foreign University.
2. Candidates must have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR
or a similar test accredited by the UGC (state level eligibility test SLET /SET).
Essential Qualifications for the post of Assistant Professor (Music);
1. Good Academic record with at least 55% marks (50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD
category) or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed at the
Master’s level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a
accredited foreign University.

OR
A traditional or professional artist with a highly commendable professional achievement in the
subject concerned, who should have:(a) Studied under noted / reputed traditional masters and has thorough knowledge to explain the
subject concerned;
(b) A high grade artist of AIR/TV; and
(c) Ability to explain the logical reasoning of the subject concerned and adequate knowledge to teach
theory with illustrations in that discipline.
General Note:1. Candidates who are or have been awarded Ph.D Degree in compliance of the University Grants
Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for awards of M.Phil / Ph.D degree),
Regulations, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition
of NET/SLET/SET. Candidates may please note that this is further subject to the outcome of the
Judgment of Supreme Court in the matter of P.Suseela & ors etc. etc. Versus University Grants
Commission & Ors. etc. etc. arising out of SLP (Civil) Nos. 36023-36032 of 2010 and also
further orders issued by University Grants Commission / University of Delhi.
2. NET/SLET/SET shall not be required for such Masters Degree Programmes in disciplines for
which NET/SLET/SET accredited test is not conducted.
3. The candidates applying under PwD category may specifically mention in application their main
category to which they belong i.e. UR/SC/ST/OBC for the purpose of computing the reservation.
4. The candidates applying under PwD category are required to submit the Disability Certificate in
the format prescribed by Government of India, Department of Personnel & Training vide OM No.
36035/3/2004-Estt (Res) dated 29.12.2005. The format is available at the website
www.persmin.nic.in
5. The candidates already in service must apply through proper channel.
6. The college reserves its right not to fill any or all post(s) advertised.
7. The College reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts advertised as also not
to fill all / any post, if circumstances so warrant. The reserved categories of the posts are subject
to modification, if any, prescribed by University of Delhi.
8. Separate applications have to be submitted for each post.
9. Only online application shall be entertained.
10. Merely fulfilling the minimum eligibility conditions does not entitle the candidates to be called
for interview. The applications received shall be screened in accordance with the guidelines laid
down by the University of Delhi in this regard, to restrict the number of candidates.
11. All amendments/ addendum/ dedendum/ Corrigendum or any other information
pertaining to recruitment process shall be uploaded on the College website only.
All aspiring candidates are required to refer the College website time to time.
Fee Payment Procedure:Fee: (Rs 250/- for General / OBC & Rs 100/- for SC/ST/ & PwD candidates are exempted from payment
of fees) by the way of Demand Draft, drawn in favour of “The Principal, Kalindi College” payable at
New Delhi should be enclosed alongwith the hard copy of the applied online form.
Submission of Online Form:Printout of online application form, accompanied by the Demand Draft of requisite amount alongwith
latest photograph and self attested copies of the certificates, mark sheets, testimonials etc., should be
submitted to the “The Principal, Kalindi College, East Patel Nagar, Delhi-8” up to 19.05.2015(4:00 p.m.)
.
**Important Note:1. Submission of printout of applied online form along with photocopy of relevant documents is
mandatory for consideration of application form.
Closing Date of Online Application:- 12.05.2015 up to 11:30 p.m.
Last date of receiving hard copy:- 19.05.2015 up to 4:00 p.m.
