Announcements Legacy Giving Continues Please continue to give greatly to our “Legacy Offering” as we still have great expenses to cover and ultimately a mortgage we want to retire quickly. Thank God for each of you who have given and are giving to the Legacy project. Office Closed In honor of Memorial Day, the church office will be closed tomorrow Monday, May 25th. Praying for Our Community Come and join Kettering Baptist Church at 7pm this Wednesday, May 27th for a community prayer walk. The purpose of the prayer walk is to seek God’s guidance for our community and to pray for the salvation of the unsaved. Someone’s life in our community is in need of your presence and prayer. Additional walks are scheduled for Wednesdays, June 17th, July 1st at 7pm. Please come out and pray for our community. “Alive” Young Adults (AYA) AYA! Revival: Attention! Attention! Attention! all young adults ages 18-28, come worship with Kettering’s “ALIVE” Young Adult Ministry for a great and exciting time in the LORD at the “ALIVE IN CHRIST to Build a Legacy” Revival this Friday, May 29th at 7pm. Come out and bring your friends for an experience to remember. Keep up to date with all “ALIVE” Young Adult Ministry events, activities and Bible Studies via Facebook @ KBC's alive young adults, IG @aliveyoungadult, church lobby bulletin board or contact Minister Brian Bailey directly or Brother Maceo Bacote . Praise Dance Night The Praise Dance Ministry will be hosting Praise Dance Night on Sunday, June 7th at 4pm. The theme for this year's program is "Building An Eternal Legacy," and will feature special guests and several dance ministries from local churches. Please come out and support. Admission is free. Announcements Continued Women Enrichment Ministry Women’s Revival/Women's Day "Sisters Building An Eternal Legacy" Matthew 5:13-16: The Women's Enrichment Ministry invites all ladies of all ages to our Women's Revival which will be held on Friday, June 12th at 7pm. This personal invitation is for you! Our guest speaker will be 1st Lady Ellen Barney of New Antioch Baptist Church Randallstown, MD. Sisters, come join us as we come together as one to be refreshed, renewed, and revived. “Leadership Encounter: Lead like Jesus” This is a two day workshop that examines Jesus’ methods of leading because He is the greatest leadership role model to have ever lived. Leading like Jesus involves the alignment of our Heart, Head, Hands and Habits. The cost is $25 per person and will take place on Saturday, June 13th & Saturday, June 20th from 8am to 12:30pm each day. Payments can be made in the Fellowship Hall starting today. Men’s Ministry Fathers and Kids Day: Kickball at the Park – On Saturday, June 20th from 10:00am – 2:00pm the Men’s Ministry will host Fathers and Kids Day with a day of kickball at Walker Mill Park in District Heights, MD. We invite all of the men and kids of Kettering to join us for fun, food and fellowship. Join us as we display the love of Christ through encouragement and sportsmanship. Vacation Bible School (VBS) VBS is set to take place Monday, June 22nd through Friday, June 26th. The Day portion of VBS will begin on Wednesday, June 24th through Friday, June 26th due to the school system changing the last day of school. Evening VBS will take place the entire week. Volunteers are needed in different areas to ensure VBS operates as a ministry of excellence. Sign-up sheets are available on the bulletin board.
