PASTOR IN PRINT
March 22, 2015
Rick Osborne has compiled and combined the prayers for the churches he
ministered to. Consider this as a tool for how we should pray for each other
and the extended church. May God bless the entire body as we bring each
other before Him.
Paul’s Prayers For The Churches I thank you Father that You have
rescued us from the domain of
darkness and transferred us into the
kingdom of Your Son who You love.
We have redemption, the
forgiveness of sins, in Him. I thank
You for the grace given to us in
Christ Jesus, that by Him we are
enriched in everything — in all
speech and all knowledge and in this
way, the testimony about Christ is
confirmed in our lives, and we do not
lack any spiritual gift. We ask You glorious Father, to give us a spirit of wisdom
and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus; that the perception of our minds may
be enlightened so we may know what is the hope of Jesus' calling, what are
the glorious riches of His inheritance among the saints, and what is the
immeasurable greatness of His power to us who believe, according to the
working of Your vast strength. Please grant us according to the riches of His
glory, to be strengthened with power in our inner man through Your Spirit, that
the Messiah may dwell in our hearts through faith. We pray that we, being
rooted and firmly established in love, may be able to comprehend with all the
saints what is the length and width, height and depth of Your love, and to know
the Messiah’s love that surpasses knowledge, so we may be filled with all of
Your fullness. We pray that our love will keep on growing in knowledge and every kind of
discernment, so that we can approve the things that are superior and can be
pure and blameless in the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness
that comes through Jesus Christ for Your glory and praise. We also ask that we
may be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual
understanding, so that we may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him,
bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God. That we
may be strengthened with all power, according to Your glorious might, for all
endurance and patience, with joy always giving thanks to You, who has
enabled us to share in the saints inheritance in the light.
We thank You for loving us and giving us eternal encouragement and good
hope by grace, Please continue to encourage our hearts and strengthen us in
every good work and word; so that our participation in the faith may become
effective through knowing every good thing that is in us for the glory of Christ;
so that we will be worthy of Your calling, and by Your power, fulfill every desire
for goodness and every work of faith, so that the name of our Lord Jesus will
be glorified by us, and us by Him, according to Your grace. Please Father,
sanctify us completely and strengthen us to the end; so that our spirit, soul,
and body are kept sound and blameless for the coming of our Lord Jesus
Christ. You who called us are faithful, and You will do it, so that we can stand
mature and fully assured in everything You will. We thank you that You are able
to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to Your power that
works in us — to You be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all
generations, forever and ever. Amen.
