YSU-LEIMUN Conference Brochure
In support of the region’s growing number of high school students, the Youngstown State University High School Model United Nations program has joined with the LEIMUN (Lake Erie International Model United Nations Corporation) in offering over a combined sixty years of experience in hosting high school Model United Nations. The high school Model United Nations program previously hosted by LEIMUN recognizes thirtysix years of challenging young minds originally for Ashtabula area high schools. Held in prior years on the Ashtabula Campus of Kent State University, Dr. John Hammond started the high school program utilizing smaller committee sizes to enhance participation and increase the educational opportunities of the delegates. With YSU and LEIMUN working together, the opportunity is now presented for an exceptional learning experience with simulations designed to reflect contemporary international issues. We hope you and your high school or academy can take advantage of this opportunity to join us this March for a growing conference that is exciting, innovative, and intellectual.
