April 2015 CHAMBER CHATTER Lovington Chamber of Commerce LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT As the newest Chamber of Commerce board president I am proud to serve you as the voice of business in Lovington. It is my goal to lend a helping hand in evolving our Chamber for the better. I plan on looking for ways to better inform and serve you, our members, and ensure our Chamber is on par with the networking, education and marketing opportunities we provide as part of your investment in the Chamber. If you are not already, I urge you to join me in becoming actively involved in the organization that is here to support you. A strong business community plays an instrumental role in creating jobs and improving the local economy, as well as the overall quality of life in Lovington. Business relies on a well-rounded, well-educated workforce to run effectively and efficiently. Businesses look for a strong educational system when deciding where to locate. The Chamber has been a strong advocate for our community’s educational quality and will continue to be so. In the end we’re all working toward a better Lovington, and for this to happen we need everyone to do their part and make their voice heard. Onwards and upwards. We would like to extend an invitation to any business or organization who would like to host a game during this event. With the assistance of our community we plan to build on this tradition, by providing an even bigger family fun day! If you are unable to attend and host a game we are also seeking sponsors for game to help cover expenses for prizes and equipment.
