The following notes provide the revision history and a list of known firmware issues
in the current release. For more information, please call your Extron Application
Engineer.

TECH NOTES
Updating firmware – TouchLink Pro firmware can be updated from Extron’s
Toolbelt Utility within Global Configurator Plus and Professional. Alternatively, the
firmware can be updated via the embedded web pages on TouchLink Pro
touchpanels. Please consults the User’s Manual for more information on uploading via
the embedded pages. If downgrading firmware from v1.01.0000-b015 or higher to
v1.00.0010-b006 or lower, you must reset and reboot the unit.
Renaming the firmware file - Please avoid renaming the firmware file with spaces
or special characters except for hyphen and underscore as that will result in a
firmware update failure.
Room Agent Support – Please see Room Agent release notes for minimum
firmware versions required for the current release of the software. If the TouchLink
Pro touchpanel was previously configured with Global Configurator Plus or
Professional, a reset of the touchpanel from Toolbelt or a factory reset is required
prior to using Room Agent.

KNOWN ISSUES
The following is a list of known firmware issues found in the TLP Pro 520M firmware
version 1.01.0000-b015
Issue (originated in v1.00.0008) – Text inconsistencies between GUI
Designer and the touchpanel – Text configured in GUI Designer may appear
differently when the project is running on the touchpanel. Differences may include
font styles, font size, text alignment, text padding and/or word wrapping. Use
regular style fonts and extend the width/height of GUI Designer text objects to
minimize the effects of the text differences.

The following is a list of changes and fixes in this release.
Added Feature – Support for Room Agent software - Firmware version
1.01.0000-b015 or later is required to support Room Agent software.
Fixed Issue (originated in v1.00.0010-b007) – Popup pages not hiding when
the touchpanel is in sleep mode – Hide All Popups and Hide Popup commands are
not triggering while the touchpanel is in the sleep state resulting in the touchpanel
being out of sync with the system. This issue has been resolved in version
1.01.0000-b015.
Fixed Issue (originated in v1.00.0010-b007) – Click sounds not working
after a build and upload from Global Configurator – Occasionally click sounds
will stop working after a Global Configurator project is built and uploaded to a
system. This issue has been resolved in version 1.01.0000-b015.

The following is a list of changes and fixes in this release.
Fixed Issue (originated in v1.00.0009-b005) – Unit becomes unresponsive
when entering setup menu – Entering setup menu multiple times back to back
may cause the unit to become unresponsive. This issue has been resolved in version
1.00.0010-b006.
Fixed Issue (originated in v1.00.0009-b005) – Buttons are not visible if
state 0 is removed – Buttons with a single state will not appear on the TLP if the
state is any state but state 0. This issue has been resolved in version 1.00.0010b006.
Fixed Issue (originated in v1.00.0009-b005) – Button press triggered when
waking panel – If waking the panel with a touch of screen and the finger lands on
an area that has a button, that button may trigger its actions. This issue has been
resolved in version 1.00.0010-b006.
Fixed Issue (originated in v1.00.0009-b005) – 12 hour time format appears
as 24 hour time format – 12 hour time format h:mm incorrectly appears as 24
hour time format H:mm. This issue has been resolved in version 1.00.0010-b006.
Enhanced project initialization performance (originated in v1.00.0009b005) – Project initialization time after a build and upload from Global Configurator
Plus or Pro has been significantly improved.

The following is a list of changes and fixes in this release.
Fixed Issue (originated in v1.00.0008) – Text characters are cut off at the
top – The text characters may appear to be cut off at the top when using certain
fonts at certain sizes. This issue has been resolved in version 1.00.0009-b005.
Fixed Issue (originated in v1.00.0008) – Popup pages not appearing when
called – Popup pages will not appear if they are called while the page with that
popup’s reference is hidden. This issue has been resolved in version 1.00.0009-b005.
Fixed Issue (originated in v1.00.0008) – Time values between multiple
TouchLink Pro touchpanels are not in sync – Time objects that do not have
seconds in the time format may appear out of sync between different TouchLink Pro
touchpanels connected to the same control processor. This issue has been resolved
in version 1.00.0009-b005.
