Sun Park isn't just a hotel – it's better than that! The Sun Park “Sun Rockers” retirement community is at
the heart of everything we do here.
Sun Park is here exclusively for retired and semi-retired singles and couples over the age of 50 who come
here to be part of a vibrant and self-supportive community of like-minded people. People who don't want
to slide into a retirement of apathy, but who want to remain independent, active, social and adventurous!
It is the community who tend the gardens and organise social activities and entertainment (such as arts
and crafts classes, games nights, barbecues, quizzes, group walks, movie nights and more).
Being part of the community here means getting to know your neighbours (and their neighbours!) - sharing
stories and sharing skills to help every resident get the most from their time here.
Indeed, our Sun Rockers often say that they do so much more with their time here than they would in the
UK. One of our residents even said recently that we should rename it “Active Rejuvenation”!
It’s the perfect environment for anyone in semi or full retirement over the age of 50: whether you’re coming

Sun Park Living is made up of 220 Standard and Deluxe apartments, in a development
of picturesque gardens, shaded walkways and beautiful swimming pools.

• Upper apartments are accessed via exterior corridors and the downstairs ones via
their own terrace.
• There are tilt and turn windows to both the front and back of the apartments, with

In many ways, Lanzarote is a different world from the UK, with its awe-inspiring volcanic landscapes,
rugged coastlines, golden beaches and idyllic climate. And yet, we’re still part of Europe and English
is widely spoken, making it incredibly easy to settle in and feel at home.
Just a short walk from Sun Park is the wonderful town of Playa Blanca. With golden beaches, a
plethora of shops and restaurants and a busy harbour offering foot passenger trips to our
neighbouring island of Fuertaventura it’s a hive of activity.
Venturing into the heart of the island, you’ll find stunning volcanic landscapes, picturesque
mountaintop views, quaint “old-Spanish” towns and busy commercial centres. And for the really
adventurous, there’s no end of inspirational activities - including camel and horse riding, go-karting,
scuba diving, submarine safaris and more!
