Matt Reimer, SCSU men’s basketball head
coach, will direct the boys basketball
competition. All games will have an athletic
trainer on hand and will be officiated by
qualified staff.
Boys Varsity - Grades 10 - 11
Tuesday or Wednesday 6:00 & 6:45 pm
General Information
St. Cloud State University will again be conducting a
summer basketball competition for high school age
girls and boys. Boys and girls in grades 8 through
11 during the 2014-2015 school year are eligible
to participate. Our first objective remains to provide
fast-paced, fundamental basketball at a reasonable
price. All participants will play against the top
area athletes. Teams will be placed into divisions
according to their grade. All games will be held
at Halenbeck Hall. Online registration is available
at www.scsutickets.com under camps and clinics
starting February 27th.
Competition
Competition will begin June 9th - 10th for boys and
runs for six weeks. Teams will play two games
per week: Junior Varsity boys on Tuesday nights,
and Varsity boys on Tuesdays or Wednesdays;
dependent on registration. Varsity boys teams
are encouraged to pick a preferred night but we
reserve the right to move teams to another night.
Players must send their information in as a team.
Teams are not considered registered until the
Sports Camps Office receives registration forms
and payment. There will be no tournament at the
end of the competition. Teams will receive 12 games
over the 6 weeks unless there are forfeits.
Fee
Cost for the league is $70 per player. A $10
service charge will be withheld on all refunds.
Enrollment
To register, complete and return the attached
registration form along with the $70 fee by
April 24, 2015. The fee includes a T-shirt and
twelve officiated games. Your team will not be
considered registered until your registration
form is received. Please register as a team,
individuals registering separately can not be
guaranteed to be placed on the team they
requested. No Registrations accepted after
April 24, 2015.
