HANDOUTS
Market Day
FROM THE PRINCIPAL
We wrapped up girls’ basketball season Monday evening. I
would like to thank our coaches; Kevin Smith, John Smith,
Kayla Smith, Lacy Crosier, and Christie Clare. They have
done an outstanding job with teaching the skills and having an
expectation of being a disciplined player. On a side note, they
also had many games coming out in the “win” column. I also
want to thank you as parents for supporting your children at
the games both in attendance and in encouraging words. For
all of us basketball fanatics – the boys’ season begins this evening! I
know I will continue to see some of you for the next couple months.
The boys’ season adds a new component of parent and students –
our cheerleading team. I am looking forward to it all.
Don't forget our Veteran’s Day celebration coming up on Tuesday.
One of the things we would like to include would be to have any relatives of our students who are available to join us at our morning assembly in the elementary gym Tuesday November 11th at 8:00 for a
short recognition program. Please pass the word to your families and
invite them to be a part of the experience. We believe this informal
activity can have a big impact on our students. To help us with our
preparation, please email me at(himmelhavm@lanesville.k12.in.us) if
you or a family member is a veteran who can attend (any parent,
veteran or not, is welcome).
Thanks for all you do for Lanesville Elementary.
