RingCentral Release Notes | June The Release Notes provide an update of the latest new features and enhancements for RingCentral products. Also contained are Resolved Issues since the last release and Known Issues introduced by this release. What’s New & Improved OFFICE EDITION ENTRY STANDARD PREMIUM ENTERPRISE RingCentral for Desktop enhancements. Boost efficiency of business communications with allinclusive desktop solution. Heads Up Display (HUD) – Allow users (e.g. receptionists, executive assistants) to view up to 100 colleagues' real-time phone statuses plus manage multiple incoming calls including transferring calls, adding users to an existing call, and picking up calls on behalf of other colleagues. Pop-up window for incoming calls – Allow users to view a list of incoming calls with caller IDs and have the option to answer calls or send to voicemail. Scan to fax – Add fax attachments directly from a scanner1. Enable outbound VoIP calls with direct dial (with a purchased IP phone) – Make calls directly from RingCentral for Desktop without using RingOut. End-call notification with a beep sound. Interface enhancements. Provide better user experience with greater efficiency. RingCentral for Oracle Sales Cloud. Connect RingCentral cloud business communications to Oracle Sales Cloud CRM application to provide Oracle users with enterprise-grade cloud communication capabilities. Cloud-based integration – No software installation. Easy click-to-call feature from any phone number in a contact. Instantly access contact profiles based on incoming caller IDs. RingCentral Meetings. Optimise online meeting experience and collaboration. Usability enhancements – Join a meeting from previous meeting IDs and resize meeting windows. In-meeting enhancements – New host controls (mute on entry, stop/start video, play enter/exit chime), new attendee controls (raise hand, request for mouse and keyboard control), and gallery view on iPad. Screen share enhancements – Screen share and annotate from Android app, attendee coannotation during screen share (iOS), screen share iPad/iPhone apps from desktops, support for copy and paste when screen sharing with remote control. June 25, 2015 2 RingCentral Release Notes | June OFFICE EDITION Resolved Issues ENTRY STANDARD PREMIUM ENTERPRISE Resolved issue that caused the warning message that Business Hours are set to 24 hours when clicking on the After Hours tab in the Company Greeting and Menu settings for the Auto-Receptionist to continue to appear each time the user navigates to these settings after the user has clicked ‘No’ on the warning message. Resolved issue that prevented users from being able to delete a forwarding number and save Call Handling and Forwarding settings. Resolved issue that caused calls to be left on hold in the queue even though agents have become available when agents are using RingCentral for Desktop. Resolved issue that prevented the system from notifying mobile phones and RingCentral for Desktop when call forwarding was set up for the mobile phones and RingCentral for Desktop. Resolved issue that caused a call queue agent’s phone to not ring if the agent has the ‘Notify Administrator’s desktop app’ setting turned on. Known Issues OFFICE EDITION ENTRY STANDARD PREMIUM ENTERPRISE The radio buttons for ‘Set up hold music’ are both blank under Hold Music category in new Templates.
