2014-15
March 18, 2015
From the Principal
Dear Families, Students and Staff:
Greetings from Normandale Hills Elementary!
With Spring Break rapidly approaching it is a great time
to have a family discussion regarding our three schoolwide expectations: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and
Be Safe. Our staff is continually reminding students of
these expectation and that they "should be followed at all
times and in all school locations." I would ask that you
do the same in order to promote a strong learning
environment for all students. Thank you in advance.
In the spirit of gathering feedback, one last
reminder to complete the Bloomington Public School
Parent Satisfaction Survey, which is available on-line
until March 27. Parents are given the opportunity to
provide feedback to individual schools in three areas:
Academics, Climate and Safety, and
Communication/Parent Engagement. If you haven’t
already, please take time to share your thoughts to help
confirm our strengths but also, in the spirit of continuous
improvement, identify growth opportunities. Thank you
in advance.
On behalf of our students and staff, thank you
for your continued support of Normandale Hills
Elementary and the Bloomington Public Schools! Best
wishes for a relaxing and refreshing Spring Break that
takes place the week of Monday, March 30 through
Friday, April 3. I look forward to collaborating with you
all to make the remaining months of the school year
meaningful ones for all Normandale Hills’ students.
Sincerely,
Mr. Vollmuth
