The coordinator matches requesters with an available driver. Each coordinator serves for two weeks at a time. Father’s Day Blood Drive The temperatures have finally started to rise, and matzoh is but a memory for now. Mothers have been celebrated, and Shavu'ot will be over in May. What shall we do with June? Bleed our fathers dry, I say! No, not with camp/ tuition bills, but by participating in the Fathers Day blood drive on Sunday, June 21. Sure, it's not like going to a ball game or a barbecue, but you get to relax and lie down while giving, and there are snacks. Bring dad, and we'll try to arrange simultaneous donations. Now that's a fulfilling way to spend part of the day! The blood drive will be held at Congregation Ahavas Achim, 216 S. First Ave. in Highland Park. Babysitting is available.
