Kindness Club is sponcering a Scarf/Hat Drive for St. Luke’s MSTI on behalf of Mrs. Atkins. Scarfs and
Hats have to be new (if homemade – never worn) in order to donate to MSTI.
We have Spirit Gear on hand in the Snack Den. Come support our school and buy some
O’Leary clothing.
An Informational Parent meeting for all incoming 7th and 8th grade cheerleaders: this has
been rescheduled for Thursday, April 16th at 6 pm in the big gym
Try outs: will be on
Monday, April 27th 6-7:30 pm in the gym
Tuesday, April 28th 6-7:30 pm in the gym
Wednesday, April 29th ACTUAL TRY OUT DAY beings at 4 pm in the gym.
Mrs. Atkins has taught for 21 years in the Twin Falls School District. She was teaching 8 th
grade History and coaching Cross Country at O’Leary and was planning on helping with
Track also. Until she was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor. She has had surgery in
Utah with excellent doctors. She was left paralyzed on her left side and in need of physical
therapy. This is not covered by insurance and leaves her with lots of medical expenses. To
help donate to Mrs. Atkins by going on a website called Go Fund Me and donate to the
fundraiser Marjie’s miles. Please go and donate to this amazing teacher, mother, wife, and
friend.
Sports
Oleary took first at their fist track meet at Canyon Ridge. Good Job Cubs.
Oleary has their 2nd track meet today. The track meet will be the Minco High School.
