76th Annual Theodor Lang May Day Medical Conference Thursday and Friday May 7 & 8, 2015 Giovanni’s Restaurant & Conference Center Rockford, Illinois · 76th May Day Medical Conference The 2015 May Day Medical Conference is dedicated to Glenn D. Netto, MD, (1952—2014). Dr. Netto served as the OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center May Day Conference chair, the director of Medical Education and the Medical Education/Library chair from 1994—2014. Dr. Netto was board certified in internal medicine. He was a member of the American Medical Association, Illinois State Medical Society, the Winnebago County Medical Society and Interstate Postgraduate Medical Association (IMPA) Board of Trustees. He served on the Illinois State Medical Association CME Accreditation Committee for 10 years and was the 2014 Illinois State Medical Society Continuing Medical Education Service Award recipient. Dr. Netto was an associate professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford and interim chairman of the Internal Medicine Department. In addition to serving on several school committees, he served as the OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center M3 Medicine Clerkship director. Glenn D. He served on the OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center Medical Executive Committee, Infection Control Committee, Credentials Committee, Physician Wellness Committee and the Educational Resource Center Subcommittee. Continuing Medical Education was always the big focus of Dr. Netto’ s career. For that we will be forever grateful. Thank you, Dr. Netto! Hoffmann, Jr, MD, FACS. Dr. Hoffmann was an OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center general surgeon, who distinguished himself as a leader and educator. He was instrumental in developing paramedic education in Northern Illinois, and served in multiple state and national positions culminating in his election as president of the Illinois State Medical Society.
