Easter Dues/Offerings are a significant way of supporting your priest. Support for the priest comes from the regular Presbytery collection and is assisted by stole fees from baptism, funerals, weddings and Christmas dues. Blueprint is a workshop day offered by the Archdiocesan Office for Youth, designed to support people working or volunteering in youth ministry. Blueprint April 2015 will focus on equipping new leaders and those looking to start in youth ministry with skills and practical training to assist them in evangelising young people. The day includes a keynote presentation, workshop options, Mass and great networking opportunities. All youth leaders are welcome to attend. There is no cost and lunch is provided. MERCY CONNECT PROJECT MELBOURNE– Mercy Works Ltd. is currently recruiting volunteers to support Refugee Students and Asylum Seekers in the Melbourne Archdiocese. The volunteer commitment is approximately half a day per week for four school terms. Experience working in an educational setting is preferred but not limited to. The World Youth Day pilgrims aged 18-35 can choose from any of the options : School students aged 16 or over can take option 1 with Diocesan approval. Pilgrimage 1: Krakow Connect, 22 July-6 August 2016 (16 days) Capacity: unlimited. These programs are normally held on the 4th Sunday of each month in the Parish Centre at 11.15am. (Some parents and God-parents like to attend a program prior to the birth of the baby, making it easier for the parents when the baby arrives).
