Re: Letter Modification for JTA Administrative Offices Parking Expansion-Pond Redesign, Permit Number 121990-2
Dear Jeff Reindl:
On behalf of JTA, we are requesting a Letter Modification for Permit Number 121990-2; as discussed in correspondence dated
Tuesday, March 17, 2015. The initial phase of this project consists of demolishing 16,336 square feet of existing asphalt
concrete pavement in the JTA parking lot to construct a CNG equipment compound and a fast fill fueling station. The CNG
equipment compound is 3,750 square feet and does not affect the existing storm drain system. The public dispensers are
situated on an 11,725 square foot driveway located above the existing 18 inch RCP, and portions of the existing 48” and 36”
RCP. The locations of all grates and storm drain manholes will be maintained and protected throughout the duration of this
project. Additionally, we do not anticipate the construction of the driveway to reach the depth of the existing storm drains.
Consequently, the storm drain can remain fully operational during construction.
We trust you will find that neither the construction of the JTA CNG equipment compound nor the public fueling stations will
affect the structure or functionality of the existing storm drain system. Moreover, this project will result in reduction of
impervious area, therefore reducing the overall stormwater runoff. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact
me via email at fshir@greenbergfarrow.com or (949) 296-0430.
Sincerely,
Farman Shir, P.E.
Principal
