Redeemer Presbyterian exists to glorify God as a Gospel presence in downtown Charleston by being a grace-filled community that worships Christ and develops disciples who serve Him in our families, neighborhoods, and the nations. Order of Worship June 7, 2015 CALL TO WORSHIP from Psalm 86:8-13 LEADER: There is none like you among the gods, O Lord, nor are there any works like yours. PEOPLE: All the nations you have made shall come and worship before you, O Lord, and shall glorify your name. LEADER: For you are great and do wondrous things; you alone are God. PEOPLE: Teach me your way, O LORD, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name. I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever. For great is your steadfast love toward me. SONGS OF PRAISE YOU ARE GOD ALONE You are not a god created by human hands. You are not a god dependent on any mortal man. The Strongs regularly attend Redeemer, as their focus is on Joint Base Charleston. M2M seeks to help coordinate the Church to carry out sustained Gospel work with intentionality toward members of the military community and their families, delivering the message of eternal freedom to those who ensure our national freedom. The specific ministry name here on JB Charleston is Pathfinders because the Strongs are attempting to equip individuals with God’s Word, enabling them to minister grace as they engage, lead, and live for God’s glory. Pray for a welcoming climate as Joint Base Charleston receives a new base officer. Pray for spiritual resiliency as Jason is tested and pulled with dusk-todawn demands, meeting with messy, broken lives. Pray for their son Nathan as he attends boot camp beginning in June.
