SONGS OF PRAISE
ALL HAIL THE POWER OF JESUS’ NAME
All hail the power of Jesus’ name! Let angels prostrate fall;
Bring forth the royal diadem, And crown Him Lord of all;
Bring forth the royal diadem, And crown Him Lord of all.
Let every kindred, every tribe, On this terrestrial ball,
To Him all majesty ascribe, And crown Him Lord of all;
To Him all majesty ascribe, And crown Him Lord of all.
O that with yonder sacred throng, We at His feet may fall!
We’ll join the everlasting song, And crown Him Lord of all;
We’ll join the everlasting song, And crown Him Lord of all.
HOLY IS OUR GOD
Lift up His Name within the sanctuary
Lift up His Name among the people who are
Gathered here to sing His praise
Who are gathered here to sing His praise
Holy is our God
Holy is Your Name
Mighty are Your works and deeds
And wondrous are Your ways
All that You have made
Shall return and give You glory (Lord)
The earth the sky the sea and all within them
This universe beyond the sight of mortal men
All subject to His reign
All creation subject to His reign (chorus)
The great I Am; no end and no beginning
You were and are and evermore you shall be
All my days are in Your hands
All my days are in Your hands (chorus)

SALVATION BELONGS TO OUR GOD
Salvation belongs to our God,
Who sits upon the throne,
And unto the Lamb:
Praise and glory, wisdom and thanks,
Honor and power and strength
Be to our God, forever and ever (3x), AMEN!
And we, the redeemed, shall be strong,
In purpose and unity;
Declaring aloud:
Praise and glory, wisdom and thanks,
Honor and power and strength (chorus)
Praise and glory, wisdom and thanks,
Honor and power and strength (chorus)
PRAYER OF CONFESSION
WORDS OF ASSURANCE
from I Peter 1:3-5
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In
his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope
through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and
into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This
inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are
shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that
is ready to be revealed in the last time.

ON JORDAN’S STORMY BANKS
On Jordan’s stormy banks I stand, And cast a wishful eye
To Canaan’s fair and happy land,
Where my possessions lie.
I am bound; I am bound; I am bound for the Promised Land,
I am bound; I am bound; I am bound for the Promised Land
All o’er those wide extended plains, Shines one eternal day;
There God the Son forever reigns,
And scatters night away. (chorus)
No chilling winds nor pois’nous breath, Can reach that
healthful shore; Sickness, sorrow, pain and death,
Are felt and feared no more. (chorus)
When shall I reach that happy place, And be forever blest?
When shall I see my Father’s face,
And in His bosom rest? (chorus)
OFFERING

Where in the World
Leah Emory, a member of
Redeemer, currently serves
with World Harvest
Mission (whose name
recently changed to Serge)
as part of a small team of
long-term staff working in
London in the missionary
apprenticeship program
(MAP). MAP exists to
mentor and disciple the
next generation by training
and shepherding future
church leaders in the
Greater London area—
with an emphasis on those
from South Asian cultures.
Pray for safe arrival of
the interns and that God
would give Leah and the
rest of the staff hearts of
compassion for the interns
as they challenge them in
the cultural training and
Sonship discipleship
program.
Pray for the transition
back to the States of two
of their apprentices and for
Leah’s church and team as
they grieve losing those
two laborers.
Pray for several
members of their churches
who have been detained by
immigration issues that
they would be drawn closer
to the Lord through this
experience.
Send Leah an email
ldemory82@gmail.com.

SPEAK, O LORD
Speak, O Lord, as we come to You, To receive the food of
Your Holy Word. Take Your truth, plant it deep in us; Shape
and fashion us in Your likeness, That the light of Christ might
be seen today. In our acts of love and our deeds of faith.
Speak, O Lord, and fulfill in us.
All Your purposes for Your glory.
Teach us, Lord, full obedience, Holy reverence, true humility;
Test our thoughts and our attitudes, In the radiance of Your
purity. Cause our faith to rise; cause our eyes to see
Your majestic love and authority.
Words of pow’r that can never fail—
Let their truth prevail over unbelief.
Speak, O Lord, and renew our minds; Help us grasp the
heights of Your plans for us—Truths unchanged from the
dawn of time, That will echo down through eternity. And by
grace we’ll stand on Your promises, And by faith we’ll walk as
You walk with us. Speak, O Lord, till Your church is built
And the earth is filled with Your glory.
