UTS: Alumni Awards 2015
Purpose of Awards
Each year the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) formally
recognises and celebrates the outstanding achievements of
UTS alumni as well as graduates from our six antecedent
institutions. The UTS Alumni Awards showcase the breadth and
depth of UTS’s alumni community and the extraordinary ways
in which UTS graduates are contributing to their profession and
society as a whole.
We are seeking nominations for alumni who have achieved
success in professional, academic or research areas, have
demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation and/or
creativity, and who have contributed to the community through
their work.
We seek nominations for

their work.
The Awards recognise the contributions of alumni who have
graduated from each of UTS’s seven faculties with facultyspecific awards.
The Awards program also includes three additional categories;
the UTS Community Alumni Award, the UTS International
Alumni Award and the UTS Young Alumni Award. All winners
are then considered for the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence.
The Awards will be presented at a special gala dinner attended
by the UTS community, on Thursday 22 October 2015.
