Long have the philosophers wondered about the path to happiness. Many have been
certain that without a sound mind and body, happiness will certainly elude us.
Yet today, in seeking our own health and happiness, a clear path can be hard to navigate.
We face a barrage of expert advice, confusing theories, strange treatments and persuasive
calls to ‘take more control’! The wise tell us we are too fat, too thin, too stressed, too
depressed, too lazy, too busy and if we seem too happy, it could be a sign something is
seriously wrong!
