As a follow‐up to the Mission Dialog with employees, the Deans of Student Development asked students to share their thoughts about the current CCAC mission statement.

Issues with the wording
• The statement is vague
• How do you measure ‘dynamic’?
• Diverse – refers to what? Culture, services?
• Whole thing is too long
• Everything is still relevant

• Students were unaware that CCAC is guided by a mission prior to the session
• Students were focused on their experiences and are able to relate the mission …it was more difficult to discuss what was missing or irrelevant
