Senior High School Advocacy and Advertisement
1. In order to ensure the smooth determination of potential enrollees in the Senior High School
tracks, strands, courses for SY 2016-2017, every Senior High School must leveled up
advocacy campaign.
2. Prepare at least two (2) framed Senior High School tarpaulins to be hung in strategic places
in the school campus, municipal hall, public market and other public places. They must be
displayed starting June 1, 2015. A sample tarpaulin template is attached.
3. In order to determine the fitness of an incoming Grade 11 student in a particular track/strand,
consider the following:
a. Introduce career guidance through the Homeroom Guidance. Note that the class
adviser load of 5 hours is inclusive of one Homeroom Guidance and this must be
captured in the scheduling of classes. Homeroom Guidance must have structured
lessons.
b. Enhance Career Guidance in the Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao since its major focus are
Ethics and Career Guidance.
c. Conduct Career Guidance Fair by virtue of a DepEd Order
d. Require an accomplished Senior HS Enlistment Form with the attached photocopies
of the NCAE and NAT results
e. Require each incoming Grade 11 student to submit an essay about his/her career
choice
Enlistment may begin on July 17, 2015.
4. Schools with Guidance Counselors are expected to help this Division in instituting the items
3a to 3e above.
