Situated on the most spectacular of the Cuban beaches, the Varadero Golf
Course is the only 18 hole par 72 course in Cuba. It attained international
prestige when, in 1999 and 2000, the Grand Finale of the European PGA
Challenge Tour took place featuring Professional Golfers from all over
Europe.
The Varadero Golf Club provides a unique atmosphere in its famous Xanadu
Mansion club house. Its Mirador Bar offers a spectacular view of the pleasing
contrasts between the soft green of the golf course and the turquoise blue of
the sea surrounding it.
SuperClubs Breezes Varadero is just 150 metres from the fourth tee at
Varadero Golf Course. Breezes Varadero is set in luxuriant gardens on

Day one: Nov 18, 2003
PRACTICE ROUND

Day two: Nov 19, 2003

Format: Two people Best Net Ball
- The team score will be decided by combining the low net score for each
hole.
- Each player plays his or her own ball. All putts to be putted out.
- There are Team Prizes, Best Net Team Score and Best Gross team Score.
- Full handicap will be used.
- For individual scores, please enter the gross score on each hole.
- For the team score, please enter the low net score on each hole.
- Players from the same category will combine teams.
Male: Blue Tees
Female: Red tees.
Day three: Nov 20, 2003
07:00 - 13:00 hrs
Format: Individual Stroke Play
- Please enter only the gross score on each hole.
- The score for both days (only individual) will be added for determination of
the overall winners.
- All puts to be putted out.
- There will be 2 categories: male and female. Players from both categories
will combine tee off.
- There are individual low gross and low net prizes.
- Full Handicap will be used.
Male: White Tees Female: Red tees.
Top handicap: Male: 28 Female: 36
In case a player does not have his or her handicap certificate, the Organizing
Committee will apply the handicap considering the score of the first round of
competition. The Organizing Committee will have the right of organizing the
groups of players according to their handicap.
Ties will be broken as follows:
Team Competition: Using the low gross and net scores on every three holes,
beginning with hole number one.
Individual: using the highest handicap for the best gross and the lowest
handicap for the best net.
Official Rules and Local Rules will apply during the competition.
