Kutaisi 2nd Regional Session – Issue

We were young, wild and free.
During the few years there have been written lots of
articles about the participants of the sessions. I’ve done
a small research and found out that there is a certain
stereotype about the members of today’s chairs team;
e.g. Data = Philosopher; Asmat=Beautiful, Sopho =
Smile & Laugh and etc.
Let’s find out what a new generation of EYP thinks
about the chairs team, as the new blood = new opinion.
First comes Asmat... She is told to be friendly, cute,
organized and intelligent. First words that comes to the
mind are : dazzling, colorful, gracious... When asked to
compare her with animal, she was mostly associated
with a cat...Congrats to Asmat, she still leaves unforgettably positive feelings to everyone she has to deal
with... Her intelligence made the session more beautiful
and unforgettable to her delegates (and not only for
them). One sensational information!!! A delegate from
this session told me, if he was few years older he would
marry her (well, I believe that the age difference is not
too important in such cases, so GO DELEGATE GO)
Tiko is associated with a red color, she is a good leader
and advisor, also some of her delegates think she’s too
strict. The words first come to the mind of Tiko’s delegates about her is adorable, Flipchart and professional.
She is totally caring and worm person when it’s not
relate to the business... If it so...just “don’t take it personally One said that she smiles rarely, but when she
does you can forget any your problem, any war, any
disaster and her smile can make you believe that you
live in a harmony with peace, love and happiness.
Kakhi.... Omg this person is something....while asking
about him; my respondents couldn’t help themselves to
stop smiling. He is recognized as different, charismatic
and handsome. He is associated with blue and yellow
colors, and is told to be extremely positive and friendly
person. Some girls think he is mysterious... First words
that comes to the mind: summer, journey, suitcase, colorful photos... Kakhi it seems you have got charming
effect on everyone...
His delegates are charmed with his calmness and confidence, he is mostly associated with word professional...

comes Data. He is said to be a good advisor and friendly
person. Fist words that come to the mind are: Interesting
book, rainbow and big tree. The strangest thing when I
asked my respondents to compare him to animal he was
associated with rabbit and bear, quite confusing ha?
Sopho maintains her reputation of being extremely
worm and friendly. She pores positive energy that
makes everyone comfortable and easy to communicate
with her. All as one state her intelligence, jolliness and
of course they couldn’t miss her charming smile. First
words, that come to the mind: M&Ms, fireplace, rainbow. When I asked to associate her with any subject,
she was told to be a smart phone and pool. So Sopho
turns to be luxurious member of EYP.
As I heard Akaki is an active cheer, who is strictly focused on the job and doesn’t love turning from the
point. This serious guy plays a bad policeman in his
committee, but he is told to be a good leader who gives
his delegate a bite to do more. The subject that he was
associated with is Opel Vectra... First words that comes
to the mind: road, book, action. As animal dear readers

It’s hard to me to stay objective while talking about this
girl. Sophi Bokuchava... Even her delegates state that
she is the stimuli itself. She is told to be worm and caring, cute even playing a little bit bitchy. As an animal
this glamorous girl was associated with tiger cub.

to associate her with any subject she was told to be any

Giorgi pure confidence and is told to be extremely
friendly with his delegates. Fist words that comes to the
minds of his committee members are: Pygmalion, confidence, the color blue. As an animal he is a wolf. His
delegate is pleasantly surprised with his energy for being ready to work anytime. And to help them to stay
lined as a team. The subject that they associated him is
motherboard of the computer.
Devi is told to be a computer genius... If you want to
break someone’s Facebook he is free to ask. (I’m telling
that from my own experience, hope my boyfriend
doesn’t mind). First words that come to the mind are;

of the EYP think that he is an interesting person to deal
with, as he is intelligent, friendly and sociable. As an
animal he is associated with horse. So he hasn’t
changed so far...

If you are holding the newspaper and reading
this article, then you are the lucky one! Get
ready to have a glance to the most Awesome,
freaky, charming and organized committee in
the history of EYP :I’m presenting the amazing committee on Constitutional Affairs!!!
I’m honored that I had the possibility to be a
journalist of this absolutely Oh-My-Godable
team. Each member has his\her own specific
and different characters and personalities and
everyone is strongly determined, educated,
motivated, free-minded, full of joy and full of
EYP spirit, ready to get their butterflies released.
They were discussing the topic which is in fact
very urgent nowadays in Georgia – problems
that may occur if the eligibility age for becoming a member of the parliament decreases
from 25 to 21 years. Their hard work and dedication was productive enough and the solutions on problematic issues were discovered in
proper time.
The committee was led by two absolutely extraordinary people. Both of them are very positive, dedicated to the work, they were doing
everything to make the delegates feel alright
and made sure during the whole committee
work comfortable and relaxed. Sopho Otiashvili and Akaki Kukhaleishvili are the chairs of
AFCO.
Now, it’s time to talk about this amazing people, who made AFCO so super cool. There are
ten delegates in the committee. I will try to say
some things about them briefly, but upfront I
want ti say that I can’t describe them highly
enough.
GISPY (George Tsotsoria) is recognized
to be the EYP Spirit in the committee. He has
been to the other session once and was so excited that automatically became addicted to
EYP. He was talking a lot and giving his committee members energy and motivation.
Mariam Lejhava was nominated as the
beauty queen. It was her first time in EYP.
Dancing and drawing is her favorite thing to
do during the free time. She’s dreaming to go
somewhere on the desert island, near the ocean
and rest from everything and everyone, I hope
she will be playing EYP games while being
lost. She says that she’s active, friendly and
funny girl, very communicative and has lots of
friends, I am sure she will acquire few new
ones on this session.

Rezo Chanishvili! Nominated as Mr. Hand- Mariam Lataria – she was admitted as the
some. If you ask me, he is the sweetest delegate in AFCO. He wrote me a whole letter
about himself and I loved it so much, that I
want to quote his writing: (all rights reserved)
“You know?! I have no permanent hobby, my
mind changes in every five or six month, however, at this moment I like to play on guitar

have no talent in exact things, I just try my
fate everywhere. “I’m just a dreamer, who
dreams a better days, oh, yeah” What can I
add – he has a quite good taste in music, curly
hair and bright, kind eyes J

become a successful lawyer. She is scared of
absolutely everything and hates when someone wakes her up! Ok, let’s move to the another delegate or she will continue talking and

Tata Jakeli – The most experienced one.
Nini Sanodze – Her nomination is The Cut-
Nominated as Ms. Brainy. I already had the
experience to be with her in the committee and
can’t help but agree that she is really very
smart and intelligent. She won in the FLEX
and next year will be living in the USA. She
also hopes to continue studying in the American university and actively practicing SAT, I
wish her to make her wishes come true, because she is so purposeful and deserves all the
best!
George Chkgartishvili – He told me just
one thing and meant that it says all.. just RADIOHEAD, RADIOHEAD.. and RADIOHEAD !

David Vanishvili – He was nominated as

that’s what the life feels like. AFCO committee will have the triumph on the GA with no “against” and lot’s of applause after their

The Empire of Liberty (LIBE I)
Welcome to the most LIBEral committee of Kutaisi 2nd Regional Session. It’s my honor to introduce to you the committee of Civil Liberties, Justice and Home affairs I. 500 words simply won’t be enough to fully express all the motivation, charisma and spirit this amazing team had during these 2 days. This committee wasn’t only blessed by talented delegates, but also really amazing chairs. LIBE I is guided by the president of the session, one of the most charming, sexy and charismatic ladies of EYP Georgia- Ms.Asmat Naskidashvili and very handsome, talented and academic person- Mr. Devi Pirtskhalaishvili. Before LIBE I started their
Teambuilding process everyone heard Devi saying: “This is the first time I’m a Chairperson but I definitely know, LIBE I will be the best.”This is how it all
started. After the very first game called “Name Game” all the members of our committee knew each other’s names and they all started developing like a real team.
After very stirring Team-Building they got down to work. All delegates were extraordinary, incredibly smart and 100% passionate. Their topic is about multiculturalism and freedom of religion. It’s not hard to guess that it would have been really hard for delegates (with different backgrounds) to reach a consensus while discussing such a complicated topic, but fortunately they did with a great help of their chair persons. It’s so hard for me not to introduce you all the committee members individually. So, get ready! You are going to get to know every single delegate of LIBE I. Here they are. . .
Helen Sajaia: She is the most extraordinary
girl in our committee, not only with her look,
but also with her behavior. She hates ignorance
and Lela Tsurtsumia’s “Xanuma”. Helen knows
Turkish language. As she says, she relishes
physics and really wants to study in MIT. She’s
trying to ace SAT and get 2300 score to hear
“and Helen Sajaia is nobel prize winner”.
Mariam Janelidze: She loves dancing, singing
and spending time with her friends. She doesn’t
like people who are talking a lot and are proud
of themselves. She thinks that EYP is a good
chance to introduce herself, develop and improve her knowledge in different fields.
Salome Jincharadze: Salome is always funny
and active. She doesn’t like people who are
lying a lot and she doesn’t like unfair situations.
She feels comfortable to be in LIBE I and she
says that her expectations has come true. After
two months, she desires to pass national exams
and become a student. I wish her a good luck!
Anano Mikadze: Anano is one of the most
charming and talkative girls in our committee.
She likes playing on her little sister’s nerves
and hysterically laughs during the funerals:))
She’s going to be the first lady of the U.S.A.
Misho Isakadze: Misho is a very friendly and
talented person. He is always active during the
CW and he likes debating at the GA. He has
been playing tennis for 5 years and wants to
become a finance manager.
Lasha Kvinikadze: He enjoys horse riding and
playing billiard, never asks a lot of questions
and is always punctual.Even one look at him
during the CW is enough to understand how he
has fallen in love with EYP. He has an ambitious wish: He wants to become the president
of EYP :) Anyway, let’s wish him a good luck.
Tata Tevdoradze: Tata thinks that being an
EYPer means to be a part of something. Sometimes she laughs hysterically and as she always
mentions, it sounds terrible :) She hates when
F.C.B looses and loves eating chocolates.
Salome Tarkhnishvili: She is very attractive
person. She knows my favorite languageSpanish. In contrast with many EYPers Salome
hates coffee. Despite the fact that she looks really nice, be careful with her guys! As Salome
already mentioned, she has beated a boy in
front of the Rustaveli Station :D She says that
these two days spent in Kutaisi are already very
memorable for her.
Nari Tkeshelashvili: She is a dancer. She performs Georgian folk dances and Latins as
well.She hates hard rock and annoying people.
Her dream is to become a journalist and write
creative and interesting articles. As she
says,EYP helps her to release her own butterflies!
Saba Nadirashvili: Saba is very friendly and a
bit shy person. He likes playing poker. Hates
bad weather and unpunctuality. He wants to
become a businessman and afterwards he wants
to run his own business.
Giorgi Managadze: I’m proud that I am a
journalist of the committee which has got the
guy who has a limitless sense of humour. Giorgi is from the host city of the session- Kutaisi,
so it’s not strange that he has very different and
specific sense of humor and can perform hundreds of real Kutaisi jokes. At first I thought
that he was an ordinary guy, but when the preparation of the committee presentation started,
all the committee members were repeatedly
laughing for half an hour. He was one of the
delegates who played a great role in developing
the committee presentation of LIBE I and as
everybody mentioned afterwards our committee
had the most entertaining presentation.
I hope that this short introduction has given
you a small insight into our committee’s worldThe empire of liberty. Committee of LIBE I
had a tough resolution to solve. During the CW
they specified problems and tried to solve them
in various ways. It was a lot of work and kind
of hard but also fun to work with so talented
people. After LOTS of work they finally specified the content of their resolution.
Once George Orwell said: “If liberty means
anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear”. Our committee is ready to hear your attack speeches,
defend our resolution and answer all of your
questions. Get ready! LIBE I is coming!
DROI
Committee of DROI consists of eleven delightful delegates and two chairs. The fact that
non of the delegates had known each other before and this is the first time they met, makes
the committee work process more interesting.
Luka Dzagania – Luka is one of those committee members who are full of ideas, always
defenses and proves his arguments while debating. At the very first meeting he said he
was lazy, but when it came to flirting seems
like he is not that lazy any more. I think he
chose one of the delegates but Luka is so reasonably self-confident that sometimes doesn’t
bother
himself
to
talk
his
mind.
Tamta Jugashvili – Tamta is a little lovely
girl who never gives up. She said she has no
fears and I think this is true. This little lady
showed pretty strong character during the session. Never afraid to hear opposite side, always opens up her mind and doesn’t hold
words unexpressed, talks her mind and never
gets
tired.
Giorgi Kartsivadze – Giorgi is the one who is
always everywhere, trying to make friends
with new people and he is always welcome by
others. He plays guitar, tells jokes, listens,
thinks a lot and enjoys being surrounded by
the people. He comes from Achara region,
which is one more reason that makes him original and let me say cuteJ.
Ana Mjavanadze – A loud one, the girl who
talks on the session only in case her mobile
rings, but as soon as the break is on, she never
stops talking, she loves reading and laughing
though. She is interested in math and loves
airplanes. Ana looks always happy and shares
her smile with everyone.
Vaja Chanchibadze – A positive energy in
DROI committee who is very suitable person
for this session according to its motto because
he always feels free to express his ideas. He
truly tries to do his best and contributes his
committee. Admires eating pens while listening or thinking.
Elene Mgeladze – Elene to me is mature teen
who seems to be in love with her committee
issue. She takes responsibilities and talks
freely. I think she has her own world where
she feels herself comfortable. Elene is pretty in
her unique way and physically she reminds me
of one Georgian munitions – Ketato.
Shako Dekanozishvili – The silent guy who
loves being quiet and listening to others. He
seems to have his own point of view about
every single topic the committee members talk
about, but he keeps his wisdom in secret.
Ana kalandadze – Ana is very careful, attentive and smart girl. She always listens to others to the very end, until they are done and she
only after that prefers to make conclusive
speeches, she gives the right directions to
group and then goes on listening and observing them. This process must be interesting.
She is pretty wise and finds animations entertaining too.

The biggest dream she carries is to go and
study in United States. She is beautiful, especially when she smiles. Just a little bit more of
motivation and courage and her dreams will
come true.
Mariam Kharabadze – Since this session is
the first EYP experience for her, like for many
others, she has not opened for many of us yet,
but what we can say for sure is that Mariam is
beautiful, charming young girl. She found the
topic interesting and already made some
friends. She keeps her earnest in whatever situation comes up.
Mariam Tatarashvili – Already experiences
in EYP. She holds the secret that every EYPer
keeps and enjoys with its foulest. She is a
beautiful blond with working brain actually.
Mariam is very full of energy, smiles a lot,
never takes anything too seriously because she
knows what she’s got. And what she’s got is
wisdom of knowing people, I think better, than
others do.
As for the honorable, cutest, sweetest and
smartest chairs – Tiko Janjgava and Kakhi
they do everything to make the committee
works even more interesting and fun, despite
of white nights and many other businesses
they are having to take care of the same time.
Tamriko Macharashvili – Tamriko is a very
intelligent young girl who speaks perfect English and Russian as well as Georgian. She

The first day of the session was almost over when head organizer came in the DROI committee room and asked delegates to prepare a little performance around the theme of Kutaisi. Overtired but emotionally splendid team formed a circle one more time and started brainstorming. Lots of ideas
were proposed. Time was flying away; they had only half an hour to give their ideas a shape of an interesting episode. Finally delegates agreed to
choose the topic which was closest to typical citizens of Kutaisi in older times. We all know that this historical city is known for many aspects and
one of those, nowadays already funny, is the topic about street “gangs”, the society who has their own rights - “laws” and beliefs. So the delegates
decided to show the episode when a gang guy happens to be in a situation where others don’t respect his beliefs. The situation was like this – we have
a hungry guest in Kutaisi streets from Achara, who wants to eat in a typical national restaurant. He finds the place and decides to go inside but the
guide turns out to be a gang boy. He decides to examine the guest to make sure he belongs the “gang” society too, otherwise no human is allowed to
enter that place. The audience found this show pretty funny and entertaining. They got the point that DROI committee delegates wanted to show. And
Giorgi, the delegate from Batumi did a great job doing this funny and cute Acharian accent. The episode lasted about 5 minutes, everyone was interested which side would win, but finally these two ideologically different guys got friends and even sang for us. And here is how EYP works too, no
matter who you are, we are all human beings, means we can always find a common language we can talk

talkative delegates, they just might seem weird
but they have got really great potential and I’m

deserve for. I think LIBE II team is like a box
of chocolates…some are fruity (you know
who you are) and some are definitely
NUTS !!!
They have shown their high spirit while playing some EYP games. I definitely can say that
the delegates of this committee are childish,
active, special while playing teambuilding
games, which I think they enjoy most of all.
Do not think that they acted excited all the
time. After teambuilding delegates used their
abilities and knowledge to the committee
work, when it was necessary they turned on
their various skills, they were sharing their
ideas and discussing about their topic. Telling
honestly they were trying their bests to make a
perfect resolution and thanks to the committee
members and chairperson motivation they
have exactly done. Now it’s my very pleasure

express all of the emotions which born, when you suffered from this incurable disease.
It shouldn’t hurt but facts tell us different... there’s no medicine no way!

Addicted to EYP?...
EYP Georgia continues to increase the number of young people who became addicted to European Parliament. If you are holding this newspaper it means that you are and always will be a part of Kutaisi 2 nd Regional Session . As we all know time goes by so fast. Yes, fellow delegates, we’re indeed referring to the EYP addiction, mostly known as PED (Post EYP Depression) disease that is caused when the session ends
and the only way to cure it is to attend more sessions! That’s why EYP never stops organizing different events for you, dear delegates! So, if
you think that EYP is something you enjoy and can benefit from don’t stop being an EYPer and apply for the next sessions!
