Set among the vineyards and ancient villages of Tuscany near Florence is the Hotel Villa Casgrande. The Villa was formerly a private residence visited by kings, queens, and popes. Recently
restored, TCU Travel invites you to enjoy some days to luxuriate in this lovely villa near Florence
and Siena in Figline Valdarno, a medieval village of the 12th century. This location allows you to
visit many beautiful cities of art in a short time. There are opportunities to just venture out into
the luxuriant Tuscan countryside to discover its hidden wonders. You will breakfast in the ancient
kitchen where the contessa would spend her days; dinner is the weaponry room with excellent
wines produced by the farm. This trip that you are being offered has so many possibilities that

YOUR ITINERARY:
SAT 11/5 Depart USA for your overnight transatlantic flight to Florence. Dinner and breakfast served on board.
SUN 11/6 Arrival in Italy! Transfer through the Tuscan hills to Villa Casagrande. Dinner and wine tasting tonight.
MON 11/7 Full day guided tour to San Gimignano with visit to the Florence American Cemetery plus a visit to a superior local wine
cellar with wine tasting.
TUE 11/8 Full day guided excursion to Florence ( 1/2 day with guide and 1/2 day free time for shopping). Includes admission to the
Accademia where you will see the Statue of David.
WED 11/9 Optional day tour to Volterra (where New Moon of the Twilight series was filmed) It will be a half day guided tour with a half
day free to shop and explore. $115 per person. (Minimum of 20 passengers to operate tour).
THU 11/10 Optional Cooking Class. You and chef Paola help prepare a meal and then enjoy all your hard work. $140 per person
(minimum 11 passengers)
FRI 11/11 Full day guided excursion to Cortona (where Under the Tuscan Sun was filmed). $106 per person (minimum 20 passengers
to operate tour). Farewell dinner tonight.
SAT 11/12 Free day to explore our little village of Figline Valdarno or a day trip back to Florence on your own.
SUN 11/13 Depart for USA arriving home this evening.
