BUDDY WOODWARD
Biography:
Endlessly inventive and versatile, voice actor Buddy Woodward has two traits
directors love: he’s reliable and pliable. Woodward’s take-no-prisoners approach,
in combination with his strict no-ego policy in the booth, have made him a first-call
favorite with every producer and director who has hired him.
Buddy’s palette of voices and ethnicities is vast, but his ear for timbre and pitch
comes as no surprise: he’s a gifted musician, too. Most recently, he starred in the
Virginia State Theater’s musical production Man of Constant Sorrow: The Story of
the Stanley Brothers, in which he also portrayed no less than five characters.
A consummate professional, Buddy recently narrated an HDTV nature documentary
for Cablevision’s VOOM and has guest-starred in Pokémon. His starring role in the
U.S. version of hit Japanese show Ping-Pong Club gained him well-deserved praise
for his comic timing and improvisational finesse.

recordings, including an impressive “mockumentary” on The People’s Temple cult, in which Buddy portrays over 12
distinct characters -- both male and female.
