Autiello Construction took a larger role then a
Typical Construction Manager, beyond
providing a single source design/ build solution
for the 82,000 Sqft addition and renovation
project. A. Autiello Construction implemented a
delivery method called Engineer-ProcureConstruct, which bases the projects design and
programing around the industrial process
housed within the structure.

SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE ART & HISTORIC PRESERVATION
The two phase 5.9 million dollar school of
Architecture, Art, and Historic Preservation at
Roger Williams University was designed to be
one of the country’s first Green Academic
Buildings. Managed by a team of LEED
Accredited Professionals the project features
environmentally conscious interior woodwork,
stained and polished concrete floors, a Trespa
Meteon composite exterior rain screen facade
paneling system, and custom made aluminum
wind foils supported by freestanding masonry
piers. A. Autiello Construction was able to deliver
this complex two phase structure in 11 months.

MYLES STANDISH PROFESSIONAL CENTER

Located at the entrance to the Myles Standish
Industrial Park the 35,000 square foot office
building known as the Myles Standish
professional center was developed to be an
investment property for Atlantic Power Inc. The
buildings exterior walls were are prefabricated
stud-cast panels, allowing the majority of the
buildings core and shell to be constructed
through out the winter with out the need for
temporary heat or staging. This modular
exterior also allowed the entire structure to be
completed in six months.

After years of preparation and fundraising,
Rhode Island’s largest Catholic parish had
outgrown their currect facilities. A. Autiello
Construction worked with the parish, their
architect and the Dioceses of Providence to
provide value engineering that met their budget
without sacrificing functionality, aesthetic value
or quality. As a result the dedicated team
completed a project that will provide a useful
and dramatic space for the parish and
community to use for generations to come.

A. Autiello Construction was retained by the
Global Bank Santander to pilot the rebranding of
their Sovereign Bank Division to the Santander
name; The Center of this multiple location
project was the complete renovation of the
Boston Flagship Branch at One Beacon St. The
renovation was completed entirely at night in
multiple phases in order to allow the bank to
remain operational the entire time of renovation.
In addition to signature millwork and marketing
elements the project featured the installation of
terrazzo floors with custom aggregates that
carry the Santander color scheme throughout
the space.

When Webster 5 Cents Savings Bank, wanted
to relocate their Business Banking and Human
Resources Department to the 19th floor of the
Iconic One Hundred Front Street (formally
Mechanics Bank) Tower in Worcester MA,
They turned to A. Autiello Construction. The
4,500 square foot tenant fit-out was delivered
using a single source Design/Build
Construction Management at Risk solution that
resulted in a class “A” office environment that
was that was fifteen percent below the clients
Budget.

to Starting A. Autiello Construction Co. Alpine
Country Club along with Troon Golf again
retained the services of A. Autiello Construction
to renovate the clubhouse of Alpine Country
Club with a modern upscale look. Renovations
included the installation of a indoor
computerized golf simulator, mixed grill, pub
room, locker rooms, bathrooms and all common
areas. The project was conducted in multiple
phases to avoid disruption to the clubs
operations.

A. Autiello Construction was awarded the
contract to construct a ground up 8,700 square
foot building for NOAA to serve as the home port
of their research ship the “Okeanos Explorer”.
Located on a manmade peninsula, the project
required special dewatering operations to
complete the site work and foundations below
sea level. The building features offices,
conference rooms, storage warehouse, and a
technical workshop where robotic submarines
are maintained and altered for various
underwater uses. The Okeanos docks at piers
that were once part of the Quonset Naval Air
Station and the original home of the Naval
Construction Seabees.

LABORATORY ADDITION AND RENOVATIONS N. KINGSTOWN RI
A. Autiello Construction provided a single
source solution for the 48,000 square foot
production laboratory additions and
renovation for Dominion Diagnostics. The
project was delivered using a combination of a
highly technical design build team combined
with the transparency and agility of working on
a Construction Management basis
backstopped by a Guaranteed Maximum
Price. The project scope saw the conversion
of Dominion Diagnostics operations change
from a clinical laboratory to a production
laboratory work flow. A. Autiello Construction
installed Perma-Cyl Micro Bulk Storage and
advanced process piping distribution for liquid
and gas chromatography testing systems. The
project approach shortened the project
lifecycle from concept to validation by twenty
five percent compared to a traditional project
delivery method.

The three story sixty four unit Constellation
Wharf luxury condominiums has not had any
major renovations or improvements since they
were built in the late 1980's. A. Autiello
Construction Co. was contracted to perform
waterproofing, structural concrete repair,
exterior siding and decking replacements.
Situated on Charlestown's Naval yard pier
seven, and being an active residential
community, required A. Autiello Construction's
team to make special logistical provisions.
