To make sure you look your best at atelevision interviewwe share few tips below: Colors & Accent Colors Avoid wearing stark white or black because it may reflect or glare into the camera or cause shadows. Do not wear colored or patterned pantyhose Make-up Apply your own make-up slightly heavier than usual before your television interview. Pay particular attention to check and lip coloring. If the television producer suggests you go to “makeup” when you arrive, do go. You will look great on camera as they are the experts. General Appearance Usually, conservative dress is a safe bet for your TV interview. Wear your glasses on TV only if you need them to see. Avoid elaborate hairdos or jewelry (including earrings), as it might distract the viewer. Sit with your tail bone to the back of the chair. Avoid wearinga hat. Legs may be crossed at the knee or the ankle, but in either case they should be turned slightly away from the cameras. Do not button your jacket at the waist.
