New Product Review Fancy Food/Confections Show
New Product Review Fancy Food/Confections Show David M. Schengrund T his report covers the new confectionery products — new to the individual company — that were exhibited at the 45th annual International Fancy Food and Confection Show in New York City. The confectionery products were presented to the specialty food trade. Specialty confections used milk chocolate, white chocolate or dark chocolate and combinations along with nut pieces and pastes, baked crunchies (cookie or biscotti), caramel, truffle and fruit (dried or powdered in pastel), as well as confectionery technology for uniquely flavored and textured products. We continue to see multi-ingredient usage.
