Discussion
• This study is in line with Al Qadhi’s research.
His research showed that listening to the Al
Qur’an has effect in reducing level of stress
(Faradisi, 2012) and
• Awa (2012) who investigate the effect of
murottal Al Qur’an on decrease heart rate .
Discussion
Limitation of
the study
• unable to identified the
stress level before the
anatomy identification
examination (post test only
design)and the effectiveness
of the Murrotal Quran were
not measured for pre
examination.
• VAS was the only instrument
used, so the symptoms of
stress were unassessed
because VAS only measure
stress level subjectively.
Conclusion
• There was effect of Murrotal Al Quran on
Stress Level during Anatomy Identification
Examination.
Take Home Message
• Listening murottal Al Qur’an may be a useful
intervention to mitigate the negative effects of
stress among medical students during
anatomy identification examination.
• For the next research, to investigate the
effectiveness of the Murottal Al Qu’ran using
objective measured (DASS 42)
