UK Basketball great and Hall of Famer Dan Issel is featured
on the 2013 edition of the Makers Mark Collectible Bottle,
made of frosted glass and featuring blue wax and a brightly
colored label. Signed by Dan Issel along with Keeneland
President Bill Thomason and Bill and Rob Samuels of Makers
Mark. Issel played for UK from 1967-1970 and remains the
all-time leading scorer in men's basketball. One of 1,000
signed.

Because of her artwork's perennial popularity in the
"Scenes" auctions, Priscilla Roberts Fallon was chosen to
create this year's beautiful Signature Artwork, an original oil
painting titled, "An Evening with Friends." Priscilla has 5
generations of horsemen on her father's side. As a child she
lived on Winganeek Farm, where her father was farm
manager and trainer. Her husband, Ed, and son, Luke, are
part of 5 generations of veterinarians in her husband's
family : Ed was Triple Crown winner Affirmed's vet. Of the
many pets - including 28 dogs - owned over the years, the
adopted ones have been her family's best companions.
Priscilla has been highly involved in the Lexington Art
community as founder of Artists' Attic and Vice President of
Lexington Art League.

106 Riding Whip Signed by Calvin Borel
A custom made and personal riding whip made for and
autographed by Jockey Calvin Borel. He rode the victorious
mount in the Kentucky Derby in 2007, 2009 and 2010. His
2009 Derby win with Mine That Bird was the second biggest
upset in Derby history, and Borel's winning margin of 6 3⁄4
lengths was the greatest in Derby history since Assault won
by 8 lengths in 1946. Calvin was also voted into the National
Racing Museum Hall of Fame in April of 2013 and won his
5,000th race earlier this year.

Silent Auction Bidding
Checkout
If you pre-swiped your credit card at registration,
you are paid and ready to collect your items.
We are pleased to introduce BidPal, an interactive
automated silent auction bidding system. You can
bid anytime, anywhere, on silent auction items
with your iPhone or Android. You can bid, watch
items, set a maximum bid and be alerted when you
have been outbid. At the close of the auction, you
know exactly what you have won. No running back
and forth to auction tables.
If you are bidding on BidPal and did not preswipe a
credit card, you can still enter your credit card
information and pay that way.
Don’t have a smartphone? No problem! Look for
our BidPal help stations in each of the barns where
you can place bids at a terminal, or have one of our
volunteers bid for you.
We are required by law to collect and pay 6% sales
tax on all auction items.
Live Auction Bidding
The Live Auction will begin with a stage
announcement at 8 pm. To bid, raise your bidder
number for the bid spotters to see. If you are the
winning bidder, hold your bidder number up until a
volunteer locates you to hand you a copy of the bid
sheet.
In the event of a dispute, the auctioneer acts as the
final authority in determining the winner.
A bid is a legal contract. All items are sold on an asis basis. No warranties are expressed or implied.

visit our Cashier’s table in the center barn.
All sales are final. No exchanges or refunds unless
specified by the donor.
Item Pickup
Once you have paid for your items, either by paying
via BidPal or at our Cashier’s table, you may now
collect your items. The items will be bagged for you
by item # in the barns where the items were
displayed. Items 100-199 are in the barn nearest
the valet, items 200-299 are in the barn nearest the
tent, and items 300-399 are located in the center
barn.
Cash and Carry Policy
All auction purchases must be picked up at the end
of the auction. If you need special arrangements
for large items, consult an Auction Committee
member prior to bidding.
