Compact design gives it a low profile that won’t add weight to your weapon. RAPID AIMING Illuminated reticle automatically responds to existing lighting conditions so luminosity is always optimized. Even when viewed at an angle, the brightness and sharpness of the red dot remain constant and clearly visible. EASY MOUNTING Spring clamp easily clips onto Weaver and Picatinny rails for quick mounting. HIGHLY DURABLE High-grade aluminum alloy housing is waterproof, nitrogen filled to prevent fogging, and can withstand calibers with the most abusive recoil. Carl Zeiss Sports Optics 2011 HIGH-PERFORMANCE TECHNOLOGY The hybrid energy supply comes from two sources: solar during the day and battery power at night or in low light situations. Automatic shut-off after four hours prevents unwanted battery drain. Page 35 Hensoldt Riflescopes – RSA Functionality Windage and Elevation Adjustments Adjusting the Z-Point for windage and elevation is achieved through an Allen wrench fitted with a metric scale for adjustment setting. Design The Z-Point is extraordinarily compact and very adaptable for a variety of firearms. It is also compatible for archery use. Mounting A spring loaded clamp easily clips onto Weaver and Picatinny rails for quick mounting. Weaver model Z-Point’s. Additionally have x2 set screws to accommodate for slight variations in Weaver “style” rails. On/Off/ Set Switch The touch pad with the ZEISS logo acts to turn the Z-Point on and off and to set the illuminated diode more or less intense. Carl Zeiss Sports Optics 2011 Light Sensor A sensor inside the Z-Point determines how much light the the unit is surrounded by. In bright light the Z-Point will run on solar power. In low light will run on battery power. The sensor will also automatically increase the diode intensity in bright light and decrease it in low light. Page 36 Hensoldt Riflescopes – RSA Functionality On/Off/ Set Switch The touch pad with the ZEISS logo acts to turn the Z-Point on and off and to set the illuminated diode more or less intense. To Turn the Unit On: Press The Button and Hold. To Increase Brightness: Press the Button Twice and Hold after the second press. To Decrease the Brightness: Press the Button Three times and hold after the third press. To Set to Average brightness: Press the button Four times and hold after the fourth press. To Turn off: Press and Hold.
