Governmental Affairs 2011 Directors John Conn Chrissy Ham Donovan Jackie Hicks Mallory Jones Dorothy Mitchell Shannon Piland Jolyn Vanicky Donna Walters We have some exciting new goals proposed for the next year and I would like to take a minute to highlight just a couple of them. First, we recognize that some excellent ideas, recommendations, and suggestions are out there among our members just waiting to be tapped into. In an effort to help the membership more easily share this information we are developing a suggestion form for our website. All positive and constructive feedback is welcome. No idea is to large or to small, 2011 GAR Directors March, 2011 so feel free to share your ideas, questions or concerns. We will notify you by email and in the newsletter when the form is live and ready for your input. Secondly, with the help of our Special Events/ Hospitality Committee, we are hoping to add a more personal touch to our “In Our Thoughts and Prayers” emails. These are just a couple of the new goals we have for 2011 and we hope you are as excited about them as we are. I have included a complete list of our 2011 goals at the end of this article. Also, I would like to thank everyone who attended the GAR 2011 Inaugural Meeting, in Amelia Island last month. We had over 25 members and spouses in attendance. I know it is some- times difficult to get away, especially with the current economy and I thank all of you for this special effort.
