*How to get your dorm deposit back when you move out:
The moment has arrived when you have progressed to a point where you are moving out of the dorm!
This could mean that you have reached the end of your semester.
In order to get your deposit back, most dormitories require that you leave your room in pretty much the
same way you found it when you moved in. The purpose of a deposit is to cover any damages that may have
occurred while you lived in the room. Your goal should be to leave everything looking good and working
well.
**Payments must be made to the bank, which is located on the campus, on the day check-in done. Please
note that your name and surname should be written on the bank receipt.

SHOPPING WITHIN CAMPUS
There are various options in the Maslak Campus to do a little
Almost all of the ITU campuses are located in central
areas. There are several buses that pass each campus.
The most used transportation method is taking the
metro, most likely because it’s proven to be the fastest
method. To give an example, it only takes
shopping. There are 2 grocery stores that have almost
everything you may need in your dorm room. From newspapers
to detergent and cheese to deodorant… There is also a store
called İTU1773 that sells İTÜ merchandize.
approximately 20 minutes to go to Maslak Campus
from Taşkışla Campus. However it may take up to an
hour to travel the same distance by bus depending on
the traffic.
If you want to take a closer look at the campuses, you
can use Google Maps to see everything within and
around the campuses.
There are also several stationaries in every faculty
building for any classroom supplies you may need,
including lecture notes and questions from the previous
midterms. There are also computers available in these
stationaries.
