For just as we have many members in one body
and all the members do not have the same
function, so we, who are many, are one body in
Christ, and individually members one of another. Since we have gifts that differ according to
the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise
them according...
(Romans 12:4-6)
A Message From Jim Anderson
Harvest Network International was birthed in 1985 to provide context, community, and covering for Spirit-filled, Great Commission
oriented congregations and their pastoral leaders. However, our
foundational documents also gave a significant place to the scriptural reality taught by Paul in Ephesians 4:11-13 that Jesus provides
His church with a rich and essential diversity of leaders. This “FiveFold” diversity of servant-leaders includes apostles, prophets, evangelists, and teachers, as well as pastors. The roles of each of these
offices were defined and affirmed in our original constitution and
by-laws.
Because we affirmed this plurality of leadership, HNI began to receive applications for membership from anointed men and women
called to a broad array of ministries outside of a congregational
context. Over the years, this trend has attracted many para-church
leaders to HNI and made our five-fold diversity one of our unique
strengths.
This directory is dedicated to the superb teachers, Christian counselors, missions mobilizers, chaplains, healing ministers, kingdom entrepreneurs, and administrators that have become vital members of
HNI. I pray this directory will accomplish two great goals:
Awareness: Establish a greater awareness of the exceptional
para-church ministers and organizations God has called to
HNI, and
Partnerships: Increase the working partnerships between HNI’s
congregations and these wonderful ministries.
Blessings,
Jim Anderson
Presiding Overseer
