We hope to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. All of our club members and volunteers love to talk about koi and ponds and will be happy to answer any questions about the fish in the show or any other aspect of the hobby. The enthusiastic members of ZNA NorCal have produced the entire show. All of the koi inside of the show ring are in competition for awards and are owned by private individuals with backyard ponds. Many are from enthusiasts in the Bay area while others have come from across the country and possibly from another country. ZNA NorCal is just one of the many koi clubs in the US and around the World. While ZNA NorCal members are primarily interested in raising and showing very high quality koi. There are a number of other clubs in the area that emphasize other aspects of the hobby. The beauty of keeping koi is that it can be enjoyed at many levels with koi costing thousands of dollars apiece to koi that are 25 cents apiece. Other clubs in the area include: • Santa Clara Valley Koi & Water Garden Club • SF Bay Area Koi Club • Monterey Bay Koi and Pond Club • Central California Society • Camellia Koi Club Please Visit Our Vendors: We could not put on this show every year without the support of our vendors. They have booths around the vendor area and would enjoy answering your questions about koi, koi keeping and their products. Many have show specials so this is a great opportunity to get some great deals. Please Don’t Touch: Parents, please help keep little hands out of the water. This is for their protection as well as for the koi. Never feed the koi or drop anything into the tanks. Since there is no filtration running, we must be very careful to maintain healthy water quality. Be careful not to lean on the tanks. They are very flexible and if pushed too hard a catastrophe could result. Thanks For Coming: We really appreciate your interest. If you’re thinking about joining our club, please see the folks at the admin desk. We have a number of enjoyable and interesting events for members throughout the year. Check our website: http:// www.znanorcal.org for additional information.
