Sales & Customer Service
We feel very fortunate
to have left our premises in the Forsyth Barr
building just a few
weeks before. We are
still recovering from the
effects on our home
and on the businesses
that we deal with on a
daily basis.
The rest of the year is
looking great! We’re
gearing up for the arrival of the new summer
season and the Rugby
World Cup.
We decided to re design
and modernize the website and will be developing the contents as an
ongoing project. We are
working on the grading
pages, to bring them
together as a valuable
product support tool for
our customers.
We are all being
dragged into the 21st
century in terms of social media and technology. Non more so than
myself. When you look
at the facts, I think it’s a
question of getting on
board or getting lost.
The digital market place
continues to become
more and more popular
and people are concentrating more of their
time and effort to online
activities.
With over 100,000 people expected in Wellington during that weekend,
the show is sure to be a
huge success.
Khymne D’Arcy and Babs
Theinert-Brown from
Eyris Blue Pearls will be
at the show.
A Message from Roger Beattie
It’s been a busy year so
far, in one way or another. Life seems to be
returning to normal following the Christchurch
earthquakes that have
caused havoc to our
City Center and for
many businesses and
friends alike, in the surrounding areas.
Please send any comments, suggestions or enquiries to us:
August 2011
NZ Jewellery Show Welcomes Eyris
The pricing restructure
brings a welcomed consistency across the
range. I call it a restructure because this process hasn’t been about
increasing prices, but
bringing the range into
alignment. The C grades
remain the same, the
A’s have become more
accessible while the
elite of the Pacific Blue
range, the B grades,
have been increased to
truly reflect their status
within our blue pearl
selection.
Keep in touch,
Roger Beattie
“We are both really looking forward to putting
names to faces and seeing the pearls set in
some beautiful pieces of
jewellery.”
Leading up to the show,
we have been delighted
to secure space on the
rear cover of the show
brochure. We will be
including contact details
for all our customers who
have a fine jewellery
cabinet at this years
event and are displaying
Eyris blue pearl pieces.
“...over 100,000
people are ex-
ton during that
weekend”
On the 22nd August
2011 we launched our
newly designed website.
The website will serve
as a great communication tool between Eyris
and their clients. The
content is being developed to also serve as a
great source of brand
support for the relationships between our clients and their customers.

David Baker, Chairman of
the Paumac7 Industry Association Inc. sent Roger

July.
David has acknowledged the
donation of equipment and
facilities as having enabled
their project, to be successfully completed.
As many of you will know
Roger has been driving paua
reseeding projects for 20
years. Roger understands
that “...if reseeding doesn’t
form the backbone of our
future management plans

will never in our lifetimes,
rebuild paua stocks to past

Congratulations to Jacek and
Ilona Pawlowski for a remarkable refurbishment and
re-launch of the Akaroa Blue
Pearl Center.
Having been forced from
their Colombo Street premises after the Christchurch
earthquake on 22nd February 2011, European Jewellers set up a home workshop
and have been continuing
business from there.
The Blue Pearl Gallery have
moved their operation onto
the wharf in Akaroa and we
wish them every success.
